Karma is a bitch...

Sinking in a pile of Dunk
-
Always makes me smile whenever I see him make a cock up.
Cost us dearly when he crocked Billy on the first day.
-
We need a CB according to some fans.
What would be said if we signed him?
-
What would be said if we signed him?
Probably, 'how the hell have we financed the acquisition of a Premier League centre-half?'
-
Well i know that, i will change my question to "if the money was available, what would be said if we signed him"?
-
I'm not big on grudges but to take out Sharp and Hayter in one game was exceptionally tough on us.
I'd not be wanting him anywhere close tbh.
-
Hayter injured himself attempting to shoot, if my memory serves..?

Billy's sending off there a couple of years later for kicking out didn't do us any favours either

Hayter was injured when trying to score after 'contact' from a Brighton player.
-
To make the weekend complete Newcastle were losing players to injury.......and stupidity
-
Lewis Dunk is a really good centre half to be fair.
Cracking header he scored on Saturday mind, not sure what he was thinking.
-
He might be a decent CB but he's still a grade A w**ker.
-
He is Marquis' brother-in-law, quiet word...
-
Are we still not over this yet?
We were some way off being good enough that season, with or without the injury.
-
We were comfortable until Billy went off in that game.
Losing him and Hayter and then Ryan Mason not long after left us with large holes to fill that we just couldn't manage.
-
In my opinion the point that everyone seems to missing here's is that the tactics used on the day were a product of Gus Poyet's game plan. Again in my opinion a horrible man who would have taken the game back to the Revie days given the chance.
-
If we had used their tactics that day we would probably have finished with 8 or 9 players on the pitch.
They then booed Billy being stretchered off to rub salt in the wound.

Absolutely right we were. That season may have been very different had Billy not been injured. Their fans were a complete set of arseholes after the game too which didn't help my mood that day.
-
And they scored the winner in the 98th minute, with so much time added for the injury.. now that is rubbing salt into the wound!

The hand pulled Harveys bitter on the concourse was nice!
