thank you, its so pleasing to score 3 and keep a clean sheet. Whatever formation it was today it worked.

The third goal epitomises the skill of Coppinger. See ya later!

That third goal was my pick of the three, a great goal by the CB.

The pass from Luke through to Beestin was class. Incisive forward pass, just what we’ve missed.

Luke relished playing in the holding role today, and I think we might have found Alfie B's best position on the right of the diamond.

Having been very critical of Fergie I have to take my hat off to him for those changes today.

Agree with the above.
Luke in particular shone like a beacon today.
He does offer more of a physical presence than Houghton too.

2 things to notice, was Anderson playing as no 9 for the 3rd goal, talk about an attacking defensive option. Strikes me that he's maybe a failed striker. First to the rebound for the 2nd was mighty impressive as well.   2ndly, for all the moaning marquis does on the pitch, his reactions for the first and 3rd were 100% that of a committed team player. Sheer joy that the team had scored, and it didn't particularly mind who had the last touch.  Long may it continue...
