Anyone missed me on here? No, guess not!
Not been too well. Been in hospital for 2 and a half weeks and now back at home. For some strange reason I was found unconscious in Scarborough town centre 3 and a bit weeks ago having had a night out (not drinking by the way) No recollection of what happened, but it seems I was attacked. Thought I'd been targeted due to my career choice but it seems it was random. All caught on cctv and NYP have arrested someone.
So, apart from a fractured skull, 2 subarachnoid haemorrhages, a cracked rib and a small amount of spinal damage, I'm sound. Missed the last couple of home games but, if I am allowed to drive may be ok for the next.
Good win Saturday, and God we needed it. DonnyBazRover will have had plenty of room to stretch his legs out with my seat being empty! 😄😄

Sorry to hear what happened to you MFD. Glad you’re on the mend though.
Massive result and a much improved performance on Saturday. Fingers crossed we continue it this Saturday.

Welcome back mfd. I noticed that you hadn't posted recently but assumed that you had got tired of the forum. We need all types of views to make a forum work and I can't understand how wound up some get on someone else not agreeing with their post. Glad to hear that you are on the mend and I hope that the culprits get the punishment that they deserve.

Good to hear from you Barry, I heard you were on the mend on Saturday and I made sure your seat wasn't wasted... I sat in it. I said Sat! Ha ha.
You wouldn't believe the turn around on Saturday. Was good to see and we turned up both half's.

Don’t always agree with your posts but that’s what this forum is all about isn’t it. Hope you are ok, sounds horrendous what happened.

Got some bad news today: went to the docs and unfortunately, due to the head injuries I'm not allowed to drive for a minimum of another 6 months. Bit of a bugger living out here and trying to get to any games. And the best part of another 6 months off work.
Well, hopefully we've just about got enough to points now not to worry about anything too much

Horrible cowardly attack I just hope the person responsible pays for it, and more importantly you make a full recovery from those awful injuries. All the best for the future Barry.
