What a joke , must have had to put the price up to pay Sanchez's wages.

Football has become a sick play thing for the rich and famous. How many normal working class person can afford a shirt like that. Its a disgrace! I obviously wouldn't ever want a Man Utd shirt but this is the way the Premier League is heading for all clubs. You have to take out a 2nd mortgage to support any Premier League club its sickening.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
thing is, the plastic armchair fans will buy them !!!
hilarious
😂😂😂😂😂😊

Exactly, they won't think twice at paying that in China. Once again genuine fans that actually turn up to support their team lose out, even more so they've got a couple of kids as well.
-
Disgusting.

£110 for a football shirt is madness. Sadly though I think people will buy it which will justify the pricing to the top brass.
-
The £110 is for an 'authentic player issue' shirt.
The replicas are about £65.
Still £65 too much though.
-
And what in God's name is an "authentic player issue" shirt? is there any actual difference?

Thanks for clarifying, hadn’t read the full article. £65 is probably not too far above par for the premier league is it? I know the England shirt costs that much.

Complete non story.

Here in Portugal you'll pay €80/90 for a replica Porto/Benfica/Sporting shirt in the shop.

Apparently,it's got a velcro strip down the back,It's called a Rip Off!
-
Adidas have the same thing here with the MLS teams. You can buy a replica or an actual first team issue shirt. Stupid. It’s about $125 for a team issue shirt. Not cheap. The mark up is insane isn’t it?
-
Imagine being the sad Kitson that buys a first team issue one though. Tragic.

Go to Turkey, the kit will be from the same factory, and after 2 hours of bartering they will throw you an old Real Ronaldo shirt in for about £30.

Anyone putting their kid in a Man U kit should be reported to social services.😉

Please excuse my ignorance but why is their a reference to Yorkshire on their advert ?
-
Probably for all the Yorkshire folk that trail over to watch a winning team at the cost of their home town teams.
-
Anyone who buys the "authentic" one wants their hard drive looking at.

Probably because they were first called Newton Heath Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway Football Club.

Amazes me these days how new football shirts retail around the £50+ mark, yet 15-20 years ago £40 was the usual asking price and the quality of them was much better as well.
The difference between the 'authentic player shirt' thing, on Juventus' shirt last season anyway, was the badge was sewn/stitched onto the cheaper one whereas the authentic one was made out of some shiny/plasticy type material. That and the piping on the 'authentic shirt' might have been from the same shiny/plasticy material. Difference in price was around the £25 mark.
That’s about on par with inflation I’d expect - not exactly crazy! I wonder what the equivalent increase in ticket prices has been over the last 20 years.
