Very poor officials, Cattermolle should have had two yellow cards in the first 15 mins

K*******s all of them

They were giving the big team everything. Lino on West (again) could never decide who to give Throws to - so he waits a while and every time gave it to them

What really p****d me off was the Foul by Whiteman was not seen by the (so called) Ref. However the West Stand Lino alerted him and after the Ball went dead out came a Yellow

However Wright was clattered exactly the same way - miles after the Ball had gone in SE corner. Did the same spouty Lino say owt ? NO of course not

Then there was Willks through on Goal - hauled back - he managed to get a shot away so Ref had allowed advantage BUT should still have gone back with a Yellow (for me anyway)

Linesman on the West Stand side was shite. Missed several fouls, gave one in the middle where he clearly didn't see the incident but flagged when he turned and saw one of their players on the floor and then the decision not to give the throw in when the ball clearly went out which I think was in the build up to their goal

It was in the build up to the disallowed goal

Defo a case of big club syndrome with this ref.
Some of the Sunderland fouls and dangerous tackles were bordering on ridiculous.

I thought the East Stand linesman wasn't too bad and got most things right. The other two were simply dreadful.

I wonder if its something the ref decides, to put the total w**ker of the two linos on the West Stand

Any referee who makes Graham Salisbury look like Jack Taylor by comparison (slight exaggeration perhaps) must by definition be very poor. I can understand why the Leeds fans were up in arms about this fellow a few weeks ago.

Nothing much to add to what has been said here and elsewhere. His only consistency was inconsistency and he allowed Cattermole, McGeouch and Sinclair to get away with murder.

.. and gets a magnificent  Points from 23 Votes which equals 0.43 Points

As I have said Ad nauseum in the past the Assessor will hve given him 8 out of 10 and he will have given his Linos 8 each so all will be well for his future in the EFL
