Post by: les@donr on December 15, 2018, 01:13:34 pm: I remember going to Scunny and they were 2-0 up, and we pegged them back to 2-2 late in the game. Hope the same thing doesn't happen to use today. We need a 3rd goal to put the game beyond Scunny, then take off all three booked players.

Not only that, but he joins only Tom Keetley, Peter Kitchen and Bert Tindill in scoring 15+ in all competitions 3 seasons in a row. (Sidenote - some sources suggest Tony Leighton may have done as well but one of his possible 15 goals in 1961-62 is disputed)
