Scunny are playing a 4-2-3-1 formation. They're really packing the midfield and obviously don't want us to score do they. Let's hope the lads can find a way through that lot.

Good morning everyone, came to the game late, thought not much would be happening, then see us 2-0 up against the Scunny Bunnies. It was a 8:15 am ko here in Atlantic Canada.

Scunthorpe seem to have settled down a bit now, bit of pressure, few corners, couple of chances..

An injury too with Thomas going off for El-Mhanni

Fingers crossed they don't grab 1 back!

Mallik Wilks needs to be careful else he will be in the book ,next foul .. Just have to see out the half and go in at 2-0 ..

Marquis and Whiteman also booked too!

Sunny have realised only way they will win this is by getting a rovers player sent off. Marquis and Whiteman should not be on yellows

The fourth official has indicated there will be a minimum of four minutes added on to the end of the half.

GM maybe needs to have a chat and get them back to their starting performance levels - seems we have taken our foot of the gas...

Bit flat since the fantastic start. Kane and Coppinger (especially) uncharacteristically sloppy in possession. Hope we start the second half like we did the first but I’d take a 2-0 right now!

2-0 half time ... We have to be careful 2nd half, we dont have a player sent off  ... what we need is a third goal ,just to be safe ... before all the mayhem starts.Like someone said early post .. Scunny are looking to get a rovers player sent off..

I remember going to Scunny and they were 2-0 up, and we pegged them back to 2-2 late in the game. Hope the same thing doesn't happen to use today. We need a 3rd goal to put the game beyond Scunny, then take off all three booked players.

Not a great half actually but we look like we can score every time at their end.....

Ref is a shambles.

Ref is a joke. And he's instructed linesmen not to give anything without his permission.

That's Marquis up to all time 14th top scorer, 13th in League only.

Not only that, but he joins only Tom Keetley, Peter Kitchen and Bert Tindill in scoring 15+ in all competitions 3 seasons in a row. (Sidenote - some sources suggest Tony Leighton may have done as well but one of his  possible 15 goals in 1961-62 is disputed)
