No Lawlor, at all
Out for the season apparently
-
He’s been sold to Real Betis
-
1 down.....
-
Good start 0-1
-
1 down! :(
-
my bro is at the match - said was a high boot on Rowe's head in the lead-up to the goal and shouldn't have stood.
-
Posh also losing 1-0
-
Not a good start hope it’s not going to be one of those days
-
Set piece again!
-
Stats say they have had 6 shots already to nil for Rovers...
-
PENALTY ROVERS
-
CORRECTION | After discussion between the officials, the referee has awarded a free-kick to Burton Albion instead
-
🙄
-
Looking at the stats it seems we are getting an absolute roasting so far - Burton with 69% of possession and 8 shots to our 1!
-
At least we have had a shot 9 to 1 now..........
-
They are all over us, our midfield is non existent, their left winger is ripping Blair a new one, the Lino on the West stand is blind and god knows why it wasn’t a pen and red card for deliberate handball. If we get to ht only 1 down it will be a miracle we don’t look as if we’ve played together as a team
-
Now 65% possession to them, we're on the up! :boxing:

Perhaps one of our lads was offside? Or a foul before the handball?
-
anyone at the match see a foul by Rovers instead of a blatant handball during the penalty incident???
-
posh 2-nil down now and pompey losing 1-0

Well only someone near the Burton dugout saw it because the ref gave the pen and the Lino on that side didn’t flag for anything

Now 54% to them - just a matter of time now....

The ref is the closest to it, he saw a peno. The linesmen is second closest, he doesn't see anything other than a peno. But he takes advice from 4th official on half-way line??
-
Good morning everyone, came last to the game. GM will need to our lads an inspirational HT time talk if we are to get anything from this game. There is time for us to win this game.
-
McCann went crazy when the penalty was overturned.
We've been shit. Can't string passes together minus a couple of moments towards the end of the half.
-
Awful first half, awful ref, Wilks wants a slap and told to pass the f**king ball
-
Watched it a few times on replay on iFollow. Think it was a Rovers hand that touched the ball.
We came much more into the game as the host wore on. Had a number of chances. Agree there was a high boot on Rowe for their goal.
Still believe we will get something from this game.
-
All they have to do is play exactly like they did in the reverse fixture and the points will be going down the A38!
No Kane, no midfield?
-
Right - time to see if we want it enough.....
-
May replaced Wilks.
Pompey losing 2-0 to Oxford now.
-
Wilks and Rowe off. Smith and May on.
-
To be fair Copps is lucky to still be on
-
Interesting double change - presumably Copps will drop back into midfield with this move. Feel as though something isn’t quite right with Rowe.
-
To be fair Copps is lucky to still be on
Violent conduct....?
-
Seems like we've stepped it up in the 2nd half.
-
1-1
-
Smithy.........
-
1-1 Tyler Smith on debut
-
Tyler Smith......yesssssss!
-
We can win this game.
-
Rovers ! Rovers ! :scarf:
-
Get innnnn !!! May & Smith. Well done Grant....awesome subbing 😀
-
McCann is still learning his trade but got to give him top marks for positivity in substitutions and going for it in games.
-
And MAx Watters has just scored on his debut for Gainsboro
-
Whilst Amos was the only outfield sub not used for Hartlepools.
-
And MAx Watters has just scored on his debut for Gainsboro
A few Rovers/ ex-Rovers connections there at the mo, I think. Harry Middleton is there & Horton on loan too I believe.
-

I think they rated him highly but we may have wanted him back.
-
How we doing since the equaliser?
-
Come on Rovers kick on
-
John missed a golden chance. We’re firmly on top now.
-
Goooooaaaaaalllll

-
Smithy again............
-

-
2 on his debut! What a signing and what a substitution!
-
If anyone dares say we're up to 6th..................... :boxing:
-
Tyler Smith (Doncaster Rovers) is shown the yellow card for excessive celebration.
bloody stupid rule
-
If anyone dares say we're up to 6th..................... :boxing:
Peterborough losing 4 nil now.
Pompey still losing.
Coventry losing
-
7,202 watching the game today............
-
needless yellow - but 2 goals on his debut to potentially win the game ⚽️⚽️ . we understand , we understand. :scarf:
-
Come on Rovers - hold on boys...........
-
Sounds as if May missed a sitter. We need to hang on, or better still, get a third.
-
90 mins on the clock....please don't concede Rovers!
-
This is squeaky bum time!!
-
2-2 FFS
-
Balls
-
Shit 2-2
-
Not again ffs
-
Unbelievable
-
Soft goal.
-
How does that happen???
-
4 mins extra time... oh dear
-
Shite .. From another Corner
-
What are we doing...................
-
And once again we have had more than enough chances to put this to bed. Barely deserved for Burton.
-
So close there for May....
-
May has just hit the bar!
-
oh for heaven's sake :(
-
Sounds like officials haven't helped much today
-
You can't make this shit up !!!
-
Have to say. Poor officiating again. Just an observation more then anything.
-
Again we switched off, GM is going to have to address this late goal problem.
-
Game over
-
This is getting ridiculous with these late goals . Someone needs to have a word ....another 2 points dropped . 1/6 - not clever
-
All over. Two points dropped there.
-
Actually gained a point on Posh, but still in 7th and top 5 starting to pull away
-
Again we switched off, GM is going to have to address this late goal problem.
IT'S cost us 5 points in 2 games has 90 + mins goals
-
From the comments on here we were overrun in midfield in the first half and lucky to go on at ht only one down..? Ultimately we’ve drawn but perhaps could have won, so is it all that bad.?
-
It's getting beyond a joke now!
-
Shocking officiating all round.
-

It’s just the last minute goal again that’s a sickner
-

Yes it's bad teams that want pro option can't switch not once but 3 times in 2 games .
Put those 5 points on and we are up there with the Dingles
-
Similar to other weeks though. We could have been out of sight by then or well behind after first half.
Exciting game if a little bizarre.
-
From someone who was at the game, Burton were worth their point for their first half performance.
They battered us for 30 minutes, we couldn’t get the ball.
We then settled into things and got a foothold in the game.
In the second half we were far and away the better team.
May didn’t miss a sitter at all, he got a good touch to a ball across goal and was inches wide.
Marquis did miss a sitter though after he went round the keeper and lifted the ball over the bar.
Smith looks to be a natural finisher, in the fashion of Sharp.
He did look to be offside for his second but as someone said earlier, the linesman seemed to miss five or six clear offsides throughout the game.
A draw was a fair result but as ever, it is always disappointing to concede a late goal.
It happens somewhere every week though, that is football.
-
Marosi 6 Blair 5 Anderson 6 Butler 6 Andrew 6 Rowe 3Copps 6 Whiteman 7 Crawford 6 Wilks 5 Marquis 5 May 6 Smith 8 . Rowe totally ineffectual both as a player and captain today ..Smith a breath of fresh air ...come back Herbie quickly .

Oh and Smith wasn’t booked for over celebrating, it was for taking off his shirt.
-
Why wasn't their guy booked for kicking the ball away after the late equaliser?
