The midfield 3 without Herbie will be under pressure. I know a lot of supporters like Crawford I don’t think he gives enough. Rather have Blair in that postion. Runs with ball forward, closes down better and when required can get to the bye line.

Some goals in that front three. 35 from about 70 starts this season?

One in two, not great is it.  ;)

Post by: BillyStubbsTears on February 26, 2019, 07:38:36 pm
Yes it's superb. That's one in two of the TOTAL of all their starts. In simple terms, that means you'd expect that front 3 to get 1.5 goals per game between them. Or 69 league goals between them in a season.

What I don’t understand is we are away from home manager doesn’t play Copps yet plays a striker in his place.
Why not put Blair in midfield and put Crawford in Copps postion.
Well it’s 2. 0 now he must realise his team selection not worked.

Don't know, we've had zero interchange or control in midfield. There's actually a physical gap there on the field behind the strikes.

It will we haven’t got Kane. But GM knows he’s playing a strong Shrewsbury side, his words and picks three strikers and doesn’t add energy to midfield. He could still play 433 but one of them could have been a midfield player like when he plays Copps, whose not a striker.

If we lose I hope he doesn't get the blame on here.

He probably will, knowing how many ‘glass half empty’ people contribute to this forum!  :)

Who is the "he" in this case.

That's 2 on the trot then, because he had a mare against Scunny.

It’s not about blame but away from home why pick a side that was to open. Again tonight and last Saturday supporters say that Crawford is not playing well why play him in that postion especially away from home.

He’s missed two in this game and fairly sure he should have poked it in in the goalmouth melee so possibly 3. Not sure about “getting beyond a joke” but he’s definitely missing his mojo right now.

It wasn’t over the line in my opinion, but it should have been. We had 4 chances that my little boy would’ve scored. Also the Andrew effort was going in until it hit marquis, we had enough chances in that second half to win a couple of games
