Really strange appointment. He was there until the end of the season wasn’t he? So why not wait to see how that panned out and reassess in the summer rather than give him a 3 year deal after a below par start?

The only reason I can think of is that there have been grumblings of instability amongst the fans so this appointment has been made as a statement of intent for stability. Even so I’d prefer to have instability rather than a crap manager...

perhaps "Massey Ferguson" :byebye: intends to harvest up a few Rovers players should we not get promoted ?  but M.F. tractors don't run well with square pegs in round holes (playing players out of position)

When you think of the disappointment felt when Fergie and his side kick left , it does make you think did we just avoid another bad season and another sacking. Onwards and upwards!

Thats Peterborough out the play-offs for this season,now just got to fend Coventry,Blackpool and Fleetwood off. :scarf: :silly:

Their chairman did a live stream on Twitter earlier. He himself writ this season off and has told Darren to prepare for next. He also said he helped Grant prep for his interview for the Rovers job.

He took over at Peterborough in 5th and looking comfortable then he sprinkled his brand of over the top BS and now there looking up at us in 7th after loosing 6 in 8.
