The pressure on Sunlan is building with Barnsley and Pompey winning so far. Try as they might to focus on the game with us, their players and staff will have an eye on those games, and if results end that way the Sunlan fans will be much more nervous, all of which can only be good for us.
Waiting on that team sheet...

Great to see we are practically at full strength in the run in...
-
Is the game available on iFollow for overseas users with it being live on Sky does anyone know?
-
Big Tom must be gutted, MOM v Bradford, then back on the bench again.. through no fault of his own...
-
Good afternoon everyone. Big game, Sunderland favourites to win. However, all the pressure is on them, especially since they lost to Coventry in the last home game. I think we can nick a win.
Does anyone know if the game is being shown live in Canada?
-
Tommy captain?

Does not seem that way. I can't access it. Disappointing.
-
Ffs! Should have been a free kick to us at the other end
-
Bl**dy Woolmer
Clear foul on Marquis, probably in the area, not given and Sunderland go up the other end and score :headbang:
-
only just realised it was a 5-15 kick off when i saw it was 1-0 :crying:
-
What do we expect with Woolmer? A fair shake?
-
Coming into it a bit more. Crowd very quiet.
-
Now a missed handball by Sunderland defender in the area - but tbf it was difficult to see real time.
-
After all their bluster of the first 15, Sunderland are definitely nervy.
-
We need to stop giving the f**king ball away
-
Stadium of Light volume.
-
We need to stop giving the f**king ball away
Agree. Not quite clicking yet. When we do though...
-
Gonna struggle now
-
This commentator is anoying "After 550 games, Butler knew exactly what he was doing" wth that arm up for leverage.
Feck.....
-
FFS Marosi, comeout like that abdyou have to make it yours
-
Marosi coming for a ball he had no right to. 2-0. Soft goal to end all soft goals.
-
Sunderland do have some fans there then?
-
Our passing and movement is basically non existent.
-
Sorry but rubbish goalkeeping.
-
A rocket at half time needed.
-
I don’t think Ben Whiteman is anywhere near full fitness.
-
Whiteman having a mare
-
The goals against Coventry were almost all from players running st their lumbering defenders. We have not done that once.
-
Do we not practice passing in training, this is awful
-
To many players way below par. Don’t look they’ve ever played together
-
So close Danny Andrew. Free kick off the post.
-
Expecting changes at half time whiteman off for Ali and maybe copps for young sads
-
First half not good , cannot even pass it to each other
-
They look fitter, faster and stronger. This is hard to watch. It is like watching a prem team against non league.
-
We have changed a winning team and formation , we are getting what we deserve, got to play 4-2-3-1 away from home
-
Foul on John was outside the box but definite foul as was the 2nd foul on John Marquosi as the commentator is calling John
-
Copps not looking hos best and kane not clicking with those in front of him. Marosi had no right to go for that ball that lead to their 2nd. Near capacity here in away end but 2nd goal certainly lowered volume. Still Don't rate Sunderland after that 1st half tbh though. Changes needed at half time for us.
-
They need a proper bollocking. Marosi - what the f**k? At 1-0, they were nervous. You could see it. Crowd quiet.
Whiteman doesn’t look fit at all. There’s no zip to our game. I’d revert to our formation from the last game. Withdraw Ben.
We need to get the ball down and get running st them. That what Cov did to great effect. We’re far too ponderous in our build up.
Sunderland will try and get an early goal to kill the game off.
Woolmer has be predictably biased but that doesn’t detract from the fact that we’ve been woeful.
-
We've been poor. No other way to describe it. A couple of decision could of gone our way and changed things. We have to be better. Big half for the whole team
-
Embarrassing performance continues in the second half
Afternoon full of strange decisions started by the manager
-
Good to have Don Goodman making comments. More accurate, more balanced, more inciteful, more knowledgable, than this shite commentator.
-
Baffling isn’t it? How we can look so poor.
-
Having said that, get one back and they could easily crumble.
-
Theres nothing here for us, ni movement and going through the motions at the moment
-
Unrelated to our performance but Woolmer has given us absolutely nothing.
-
Sunderland are winning too many of the one on ones, but if we get the rub of the green and get a goal I can see them losing enough confidence to make a difference.
-
f**king stonewall penalty, right in front of the refs painted on eyes!
-
Stonewall penalty missed. As I was saying... Woolmer....
-
Well. That was a penalty
-
We’re gonna score...
-
We don’t deserve it but the referee decision making is been has bad as our football
-
Agree. We don’t deserve it but the job is harder against 12 men. The commentator over here on ESPN is deluded. He says Sunderland fans have been in full voice all game... eh?
-
How has woolmer bottled that after warning him?

Do you even have to ask that? #bigclubsyndrome
-
Now the time wasting starts.
-
Shocking performance from all our players now we bring on Smith
-

Not just the ref., then? 🙂
-
How did Honeyman not get booked there as well as Andrew?
-
Just a nothing performance.. no one stood out.. oh well, on to Tuesday nite..
-
Andrew seemingly booked for kicking thin air?
-
Tommy Rowe is he on the field? Invisible
-
Weren’t in that game from the first whistle. Whiteman very rusty and front line all dominated. Didn’t think I’d ever say it but thank god for Fleetwood!

No not just the ref our players performance as been embarrassing we have done nothing
-

Can’t disagree with that. I don’t know why GM changed the team.
Never got going against a Sunderland team who at 1-0 still looked fragile imho. Gifted them the second goal. McCann needs to have a long hard think and a conversation with the team after that, because we’re better than this and we gave them an easy victory.
The less said about Andy Woolmer the better. Penalties change games, and even though we didn’t deserve a goal, to be denied at least two penalties is rough.
The focus now is on making sure we don’t f**k up and secure 6th spot. After that, it doesn’t matter who we play does it really. I’d prefer Pompey or pushed but....
-
Poor first half, poor goal keeping from Marosi for the second. But ultimately beaten by a better team and a shockingly bad ref
Onwards and upwards
