Barring a turnaround in current form, there are 2 valid reasons why we won't go up via this year's play-offs. Firstly, we just can't perform away from the Keepmoat. Secondly, we can't beat any of the top 5 teams that will be in the play-offs.
-
We have beaten Luton, matched Dingles every second of each game, beat Charlton away in FA Cup and matched Portsmouth even with ten men. I too think we are not just quite there yet to beat these teams but it is effectively a cup competition in play offs so anything could happen - but there is a difference between challenging and beating. I think we are still at former and not latter this season.

We are a good side but not good enough .
-
If we make the playoffs we will be playing the team that has just missed out on autos, play like we can and we've got half a chance to get to a final where it's 50/50
-
So what would you have us do? Give up and let Peterborough take the last play off place?
-
No .... We must NOT surrender 6 th place to HIM and I am sure we wont (not eating pigs n**s sure but sure enough) COYR
-
Get to the final and it's a one off winner takes all.
We have done well to get to where we have this season win on Tuesday night and depending on the posh game we could be almost guaranteed 6th
-
We expected one point maximum tonight so at best we're minus one point. Posh dropped two, calm down.

Read my post properly; I said we wouldn't GO UP via the play-offs, I never mentioned not making the play-offs.
I'm quite sure we'll still make 6th spot, but I don't think we're good enough to win the play-offs.

I said the top 5 teams that will be in the play-offs Chris, which surely won't include Luton, and they're the only team in that bunch that we've beaten.

In the play-offs, it's three cup finals. Anything can happen. It's football.

Hope to Christ it's Barnsley for a multitude of reasons.
