Fifteen minutes gone, how are we doing? Good atmosphere?
-
1 down
-
Really scrappy start and in fact we’ve spent more time in our half than theirs. They’ve had a few corners and half chances but not made anything count.
No idea on the atmosphere as I’m watching without the sound on!
-
For f**k’s sake.
-
Noooooooooo!
-
Early days of course but we need way more energy and incision.
-
Lag on ifollow :(. Anderson done round the back for pace, good cross and their winger came in completely unmarked (Blair’s man?) for an easy finish.
They deserve it so far, we’ve been shite.
-
Well 433 does not appear to be working again but the stubborn man won’t change. Will we turn it round.
-
Eeee! These Rovers and their love of toying with the opposition, their fans, and in this case, Peterboro
-
Pumping aimless balls over the top - Marquis and May don’t have the pace to be getting those and Maxted will be grateful to drag out every goal kick. Step it up Rovers!

It’ll be the players fault if we get beat GM never takes any responsibility unless we win of course

30 minutes in and already we're doomed and looking for a scapegoat........
-
Tommy Rowe is looking lively at least. Good move put Marquis into the area but he only managed an air kick under a bit of pressure from their defender.

My thoughts entirely, Metalm!
-
Not the long balls again :s
-
Quick feet from Rowe got him a bit of room and forced their keeper into a (pretty comfortable) save...Accrington then straight down the other end and missed an easy chance to make it 2.
-
Meanwhile - Barnsley for the title?
-
Ref a bit of a prat. Again.
-
Reality needs to set in - we just aren’t good enough this season. No shame in admitting that, we just need to build and try to be proper contenders next season
-
0:2
-
Ffs 0-2
-
The table says we are good enough for sixth spot currently. It is what it is. Having said that, we’ve been very poor this half.
And 2-0 down now. Shocking.
-
One of the worst 45 mins of football I've seen Rovers play... Awful simply awful!
-

I just don’t believe it! Not even half time, and the season is as good as over! Give me strength!
-
You’re f**king joking.
Sort it out Rovers

But,who's we,GM or the players?
-
Great second goal from Accrington. We have been awful.
Big second half needed.
-
We have not got a clue. Accrington fully deserve their lead.
-
Not good enough can't take a simple throw in right
Prediction right now we won't score tonight
-
Still time for a 5-4
-
No Scapegoat MM to quickly to blame players and revert back to 433 when 4231 was working at the end of the season when players are feeling it. So no scapegoat just stubborn he will learn
-
Booed off and rightly so. That was abysmal.
-
Get Deurden on!
-
No fight in this team at all Accrington look top 6 we look out of ideas
-
Win our last 2 matches and we can still make the play offs. Not impossible. Think positive!
-

Whilst that’s true, 6th place doesn’t mean anything other than there are 5 teams better and significantly more consistent than us in the league. Of course, always a chance we could go up in a playoff system but playing like this it’s highly unlikely
-
Pains me to say this but we remain incredibly reliant on Copps. When he doesn't play or isn't firing, we're incredibly average.
-
3 - 2 perfectly possible from this team. Decent half time talking to needed.
-
Booed off and rightly so.
Booing your team is not particularly helpful, eh?
-
Absolute shite, why the feck are we hoofing long balls?
We look like the relegation team no confidence,no ideas its tedious to watch
-
Other than Wilks and possibly Rowe not one player looking League 1 standard out there at the moment... Constant long ball, mis-directed passes, mis-directed heading and no communication between players....
-
Bottling it, big style. Very, very nervy. We’re carrying on with the Sunderland performance and our end of season form is coming back to haunt us. 45 mins to do something, but is a draw good enough? No, thought not.
-

Yeah, Rowe other than some crap passing at 40ish mins had been easily our best player.

Mate it’s just my opinion and one I’ve made no secret of before - it’s not just based on 30 minutes of tonight. Of course we could turn this around and still win the game. We could even still go up.
I just don’t think we are good enough. Is that ok with you?
-
This is rubbish nobody can defend that
-
Can’t string a couple of passes together in the attacking half, no service to the front players..
We are making Accrington look good, and they are not.!
The referee is a joke too.. but in all honesty that’s not making much difference if we don’t up our game..
-

Alan, if we can turn this into a draw it will ha e been a dramatic turn around.. it’s what we have to try and do, get some belief into the players for the next game maybe.?
-

McCann says he plays Marquis, a fast one and a clever/creative one. How is the latter Alfie May?!

Bloody hell - get a grip man.... Even if we lose this game we are in the better position....
-
I think we need to go back to my comments some time ago when I suggested the playoffs this year may be a step too far. I can only see us getting maybe 1 more point now to take us to 70.
Peterborough need 2 wins or 1 win and 2 draws to get above us.
Its not a given they will get these as they play Walsall away who are fighting for their lives as are Stanley.
They play Portsmouth at home who are still with a shout of automatic and finally Burton. I think they will get 4 points which would mean we could sneak it on goal difference and/or by 1 point
-
I believe some “fans” leaving at half time!
-
Booed off and rightly so.
Booing your team is not particularly helpful, eh?
They deserved it. Fully ok with paying punters letting the team know what they think. That was shocking to sit through.
-
Massive second half,cmon ffs!!!
-

It is what it is. If we don’t go up, then we don’t deserve it. The positive is that we are better than 18 other teams. I’d much rather be in our position and have the playoffs to enjoy than not.
We’re a good team. Yes there are some weaknesses obviously, and if we did go up there’d be some significant changes needed.
-
Much better already this half.
-
Whiteman played in a game this afternoon? really?
-
Yeah - first half for the reserves.
-
Marosi & Blair doubt their best impression of the chuckle brothers, very fortunate to still be at 2-0 down.
We’ve looked brighter for Whiteman & Sadlier coming on though.
-
Sadlier hits the bar with a scorcher... come on lads.
-
It’s coming.
-
Much more like it.
-
7,222 there tonight.

Angel Number 222. The meaning of number 222 suggests that you are at a point in your life where you are looking for some sense of balance. This means it's the best time to have faith and to keep trusting....
-
Think we can forget about P/Offs if we can't beat these tonight - we simply won't deserve it !
It's too soon for this squad .

I am sure that is correct.
But probably the 222 are the Accrington Stanley supporters though :headbang:
-
I'm hearing there's a fire drill...?

Brilliant, Dutch!
-
Possession 69/31% to Rovers. Doesn’t mean too much, does it? :(
-
The goal difference is significant now, even one goal could get us over the line.
-
One goal ? - do they count back shots off target or average possession , if not it's time they did !
-
Yes now another in added time :scarf:
-
1:2
-
Yesss!
-
Two minutes of added time is ridiculous. Has to be at least 5 given the delays.
-
:woohoo: now... surely not....
-
Hit the post
-
finished
-
Mind you we should never have been in this position should we?
-
Lost that in the first half. Tactics all wrong. Why we are playing diagonals to the smallest player on the pitch. Team that finished that game should start next game. Sadlier streets ahead of May.
-
Much better second half and should have got at least a point.. we have to play more like that from the off next time..
As for the ref, what a f**king Kitson.!!
-
I think to say we should have got at least a point is a massive exaggeration but definitely a better 2nd half than 1st but it couldn't have been any worse tbf...
