Lets get the doors open early.
How is everyone this morning? Due to a boat cancellation im stuck in Jersey so about to head out to find somewhere to watch the game.
Its a beautiful day for football.
Come on you redzzzzzz
-
Reasonably confident the tie will remain finely balanced at the end of today's first leg. Can't ask anymore as that would be a bonus.
Just setting off to soak up the sun, prematch atmosphere and beating the Charlton fans to the bar!
COYR!
-
Not been this excited about a game since Leeds at Wembley, ROVCON 1, and rising!
My round - before the rabble arrive.
-
Nice one BRR. Bar staff aint turned up so there is an honesty box and a sign.

Solid team that. Get at them.
-
Come on let’s have it Rovers! Can’t wait. Earliest I’ve been in the ground for donkeys years.
-
Strongest team?
-
Just got to the Cornerhouse in Jersey. Its on about half the screens along with the old firm.
-
Strongest team?
Looks like it other than maybe Rowe vs Sadlier..
-
any links to a live stream?
-
Get going at 100mph as in the Coventry match and they will not know what's hit 'em. COYR!!!!!!!!
-
Good morning everyone, big game, big atmosphere, let's turn up and win this leg to take to the Valley.

Disallowed goal pulling back the defender

Whistle had gone before he shot

Disallowed goal pulling back the defender
Who for?

Disallowed charlton goal

Copps just went close

Disallowed goal pulling back the defender
Who for?
Charlton
-
Commentator here on ESPN. Hasn’t got a clue. Matt Wilkes playing for us. Just said that Butler was lucky when the Charlton lad pulled him back in one of the clearest fouls you’ll ever see. Utter bell end.
-
Disallowed charlton goal
Thanks, Guernsey!
-
I think we have started well. Pressing well, mallik and john look up for this. Charlton playing on the break.
Corner to Rovers
-
From the BBC website:
Big chance from James Coppinger. Could history repeat itself as the veteran Doncaster man aims to repeat his hat-trick heroics in the play-off semis?
The midfielder unleashes a low effort from outside the box at an acute angle, but it sails wide of Charlton keeper Dillon Phillips' right-hand post.

Thing is, keeper gets a touch its a goal. We had two following in

ESPN idiot: Apart from Charlton being in yellow it’s hard to tell who the home team is.
Utter shite. He’s SO biased it’s like a parody.
-
Keeps called Marosi Ma-Rossi and rolling the R. Hilariously unfunny.
-

Mind you, possession is 39/61% in Charlton’s favour. Just saying.

Meh.

Oooooh unlucky Copps
-
Great chance. Good save by the ca keeper
-
Off the bar
-
I think we are playing well

My thoughts entirely, PDX_R!
-
Great save Marosi
-
Off the bar
Brilliant free kick from Andrew. About 25 yards out.
Come on you Reds!
-
Everything Charlton try is to go through Taylor - who just scores after a poxy pinball.
-
1-0 down :headbang:
-
2 down ffs
-
Well
-
2-0 Marosi terrible.
-
Marosi should have had that. Awful.
-
Game over
-
Error by Marosi. :(
-
Oh well. We really have it all to do now. Come on lads.
-
So long as can stay within 1
-
Herbie needs to calm down.
-
We just need to keep our composure. They’ve scored through a lucky goal and a keeper error. We’ve got the bar and their keeper has made a couple of good saves.
Come onnnnnnnn.
-
Been doing so well up to that point
-
All need to calm down.
-
That second was more a defensive error, the pass to their scorer wasn't anticipated.
-
We need to get ht and regroup
-
We need to change formation at half time. Their wing backs are causing us endless problems
-
How has Parker not been booked yet? Three times he’s whacked Butler.
-
Too slow poor passing
Parker should have at least a yellow if not a red
-
We have to toughen up and play key balls just that bit quicker. Excellent tackle by Wilks near the end.
-
We need to hit Taylor hard.
-
Who's watching on Sky? Surely the first is offside???
-
Our forwards are at snails pace compared to theirs. Midfield not pressing enough and some poor passing from the defenders going forward. That said, pull a goal back and we could be back in with a chance.
-
We have to keep going, anything can happen. Get at their cb who’s on a yellow.
-
Charlton rode their luck with our chances not going in, but they have broken faster than us, and taken their chances. Grant has to set up right in the 2nd half, otherwise we could face going to the Valley with too much to do.
-
Who's watching on Sky? Surely the first is offside???
Not when the ball is played. Plus it comes off a Rovers player
-
Who's watching on Sky? Surely the first is offside???
Nope it came off Butler
-
Who's watching on Sky? Surely the first is offside???
I think everyone in the stadium minus the linesman thought it was, even the big screen looked it but at half time watching it over apparently it wasn't.
-
Who's watching on Sky? Surely the first is offside???
I thought that but it wasn’t. Got a touch from our defender on the way through. It was bloody jammy though.
-
Definitely onside.
Adding some pace has to be a priority next season. Too slow at times
-
We need a goal. For sure. At one behind it is all to play for. Get at Bauer as well. He should have been booked for going through the back of Marquis early on, and finally got booked later.
We need to get it forward accurately and quicker. Charlton are running at us and we should be doing the same.
No way are we out of this. Biggest HT talk of the season.
-
Well that was crap....
-
Game over
b*llocks..
According to you we may as well not bother with the second half..
-
Definitely onside.

Pace wise who have we got? May?
I reckon we need Rowe.
-
Rowe on for Copps.
-
Rowe on for Copps.
Brave but can see why
-
Corner rovers
-
Smith would be a pacy option later on.
-
Off the line
-
Was that a pen?
-
Some of the challenges i think CA have been lucky. Another day they are free kicks or cards.
We have started well this half
-
Movement on and off the ball is non existent
-
The pro Charlton commentary is amateur.
-
Was that a pen?
You could argue the chance had gone. Another day it could have been a pen. We are up for this

As he crosses it, one of their strikers is offside.
Depends if you class him as interfering or not, but surely his presence on the pitch as a footballer means he’s interfering.
Not sure he was. He was definitely interfering with play as he passes it across the goal.

Where's that referee from the League home game with Charlton when you need him...........
The inconsistency is annoying
-
Charlton are doing a lot of Bowyer-esque stuff. Tugging and pulling.
-
Every ricochet goes for them not us. It's not an excuse but so far the run of the ball hasn't gone our way at all.
-
Def pen on Downing

The one that disallowed a perfectly good winner for us DU? :)

Exactly - it was for the same issue - is an offside player (May or Rowe in that case) interfering
We could have done with his interpretation today

Ah I see! Yes, then. Although slightly different as Charlton’ s goal didn’t come off an attacking player

I think the issue today was as the cross came over there was an offside, it touched Butler, was put back and the previously offside player became active?
-
Yes. I’m not sure the Charlton lad was offside though when the ball was crossed from the left. Have to see it again from different angle.
-
So the defender comes right over Marquis, and free kick to them? Baffled. But not surprised.
-
Library of a South Stand today
-
Alfie!
-
It's time for Alfie to create a Tris Whitman moment.
-
Just don't let us gave a club song to the Mill of Kyntyre tune :suicide:
-
Yeeaaaaaaahhhggg
-
Brilliant, push on now Rovers!
-
Yay!
-
Come on lads. 4m added time.
-
Charlton getting nervous now. How important might that goal be...?
-
Matty Blair!
-
All Rovers now.
-
Come Onnnnnnnnnn.
-
New rule: home goals count double.
-
Not sure they are all that you know. We can beat them Friday
-
Well... it’s all to play for.
-
That'll do
-
Not sure they are all that you know. We can beat them Friday
They looked rattled when we scored. If that had come 10 minutes earlier...
He need to hit a Taylor and Aribo though. Hard.
-
Wilkes fires over from close range!
-
I can see them crumbling. We just need to turn up and GM get Bowyer in his pocket
-
All over, 1-2. But we are still in this tie! :clapping:
-
Given ourselves a lifeline with that late goal..
Wayward shooting costing us again, but on performance probably the right score..
-
We need to score early at their place to put all the pressure on them, and get their crowd nervous.
