Saw a link to clubs budgets in league one, and ours was in the bottom 6. Can't seem to post the link on here, not sure if anyone else has seen it and can?

Funny I saw one where we compared to last season’s where we were bottom 4 .

Well, what I can tell you is that Bolton did not pay that out last season by all reports, in fact they didn't pay a lot at all at times, Rotherhams budget is over £2.3 million less than that shown this season.

If Bury’s was that high then no wonder they are in a mess.
If ours were that low then GM is an even better manager than any of us thought.
Those figures are absolute tosh. Who is publishing all this fake news?

We were told our budget was top 8 min in league 1 last year.

Accrington’s is correct as their owner published their wage budget on Twitter a few days ago... not saying the rest are mind..... if ours isn’t true does anyone know what our total is ?

It doesn't even claim to be the budget but the wage bill. Not the same thing in the slightest.

The facebook page that you posted says “and look where it got them”, indicating that it was last seasons league one budgets but then the list includes teams that werent in L1 last season.
How can that be an accurate picture of L1.
Also, SM has indicated many times that we had a top six budget last season which is probably more accurate than that Facebook post.

I do think we are being passed by on players as all the best players are being picked over and it will get worse the longer it goes, but I do have some trust in GM, and you don't have to spend big to get success as last season

I saw 11 marmoset monkeys looking a bit fat and rather lethargic.....and thought “ if they where our first team, I’d sack GM for allowing it”
However my logic says that I was probably a bit drunk and the monkeys didn’t look anything like our starting eleven, so I decided not to mention it on here, and GM probably should be kept on after a disastrous first season in charge....

Regardless of whether this list is b*llocks or not, expenditure is our business, after all, without us, there is no expenditure. Or at least very little.

If you look at the four constituents that keep the show on the road - TV money allocation, corporate and sponsorship, gate money and owner subsidy - I would imagine that gate money is not the majority of our income (noting that the 2.5m annual owner subsidy is hardly income).

Yeah, based on attendances were 10th in the league. We get twice as many fans as the bottom 5 clubs.
