Good team John and James offer a lot of protection down left. Sims hasnt played much football recently before joining us so makes sense resting him as 3 games in a week is a lot.

Gomes not in the 18. Looking light in depth a bit with Richards still out as well. Hopefully Taylor is fully fit, shame to see Sims drop out but he looked anonymous for the last half an hour on Saturday perhaps he’s tired and ready for a rest. And a great option for the last half an hour.

DM picked from the squad. It will now be slowed down with Copps playing. But we have to share the workload, whether we can scores unknown

One change for the Greens as @PanutcheCamara replaces @BenReevo in the centre of midfield, whilst Conor Grant returns on the bench.

Intriguing one tonight, I expect a close one - good balance to our line up even with Sims rested and Gomes missing.

Bit of both. We aren't firing on all cylinders, all the final balls are either under or over hit, and Plymouth are playing well. We need to get hold of the ball and calm the hell down.

I think it's a bit of both, lots of things aren't quite dropping for us but at the same time Plymouth are passing it well and pressing us really quickly when they lose the ball giving us very little opportunity. The only way we're going to get through them is we get a bit slicker/more precise with our passing plays I think.

Bit of both I'd say. Some sloppiness from us but they have completely marked Okenabirhie out of the game and looked half decent on the attack themselves.

Bit of everything we aren’t doing great can’t tell copps is even playing
Bursik keeping us in it, Fejiri not getting any help, think Taylor is still feeling the knock from Saturday.

However Plymouth are doing very well pressing well and winning the midfield battle

Taylor refusing to have a go with 10 seconds to the break ffs. Sums up that half really.

Irritating way to end the half. We had a break with Taylor and end up doubling back and passing it around the half way line as if we’re 3-0 up in the 94th minute.

Passed the ball backwards far too many times. Summed it up 20 seconds before half time, had the chance to put it in the box and instead played it back to the halfway line.

Only having one striker in the squad isn’t going to help matters.
I’d bring sims on for James at half time

They don’t have to do much to beat us....

Taylor had a chance at 0-0 too where Okenabirhie but him in space but instead of shooting across goal he cuts in and loses the ball.

He did exactly the same in the Ipswich game, time to take a touch and shoot with only keeper to beat.  First touch shocking.  For me Taylor can run effing fast and that's about all.

Not sure what you guys think but it's situations like that where the honest players get punished imo. Their player's arms all over Fej's shoulders/back. He was clearly faster than him but couldn't get away. If he goes down it's a red....he stays on his feet and tries to use his strength and as such the 'foul' doesn't count...even though he's clearly being impeded.

This month was always going to show where we are. We’ve still had some good wins but we’ve also now had (probably) 3 defeats from 8 games.

Obviously still very early days but right now I have no idea where we’ll be in 3/4 months time

We all know football doesn’t work like that..

We can have a poor game yet score or even steal a couple of goals and get a point..

There’s still time to get something out of this game..

Well at least we don’t have a long drive home. We set a high bar against Ipswich, it was always going to be tough keeping that level up. Second half was better than the first but many players had off nights

Amos played well when he came on but James in central midfield when you’ve taken smith off is a disgrace

Title: Re: Argyle V TLOD

Irritating way to end the half. We had a break with Taylor and end up doubling back and passing it around the half way line as if we’re 3-0 up in the 94th minute.

Unbelievable, we’ve finished the match in the same way, casually passing around at the back when we should be getting it forward. Sometimes wonder if some of these players have got a brain cell between them...

It’s very disappointing to have 0 points from the last 2 games, given how we ended the second half a week ago. Not the most difficult of games either, if we are being honest.

A tough one against Lincoln now. Play like Saturday and tonight and it will be 3 defeats in a row. If we turn up like we did for 70mins against Ipswich we’ll win the game

What's with DM's obsession with playing people out of position? Ended the game with a centre back at left back, a left back in central midfield, and a left back at right back. Really starting to get on my nerves. All 3 of Amos, James and John are all good players, but all looked uncomfortable to me in the positions they were playing.

They cut through us far too easily tonight and we didn't create anywhere near enough to warrant a result. You have to turn up from the start not just after you go behind.

One positive is that even when we’re poor we are still creating chances. And Fejiri, on a tough night, gave their defence plenty to think about and on another night could have had a couple of goals. Negatives are that we were far too pedestrian, our defence as a whole looks weak and susceptible to anyone running at them, little protection offered by midfield, Copps anonymous, both full backs were poor on and off the ball and Moore’s team selection and especially substitutions were questionable - Reece James is not a central midfielder! We used to pillory Ferguson for square pegs and round holes but Moore keeps doing it...

Not the end of the world but we look a long way off play-off challengers right now.

Whiteman led the team well going forward tbf.

Whiteman was bloody anonymous throughout...a couple of decent passes and a couple of fluffed chances does not warrant any form of praise...he is the captain and he led by example....

We are coming up against teams that look fitter and faster Han us, more creative and better accuracy.....

The training ground is not the place for Natural ability, and we have some who will never look that comfortable with the ball at their feet....

Lincoln next .......

Not a good performance yet we had chances to get a positive result. Always a difficult place to go to and they will probably win more than they lose at home park.

Amos must wonder what he has to do to get a game. At the end of last season John was dropped for poor performances and Amos came in and didn't put a foot wrong he then can't get a break 7 months later.
