Rovers ball number 61 accoding to Free Press
-
Barnsley would be a good one for Tyke, and we usually get the better of them.
-
What Number are Stoke ? Hypothetical question - I will see soon enough (37)
Will also be changing my shouting (at the Telly) because usually Number 39 Tottenham would have me shouting YES YES YES and tonight it will be NO NO NO
Must get 61 Drawn by the home bloke - good to be at home v Marine 58 or Chorley 53 or Canvey Island or Boreham Wood 60

Due to Covid the person who makes the draw does both now.

Ffs. Blackburn the new Oldham!
-
Well that's not a great draw!
-
Shit draw! :turd:
-
Can you believe it Blackburn away again.
Has that ever happened to us before. Both Cups.

Oldham probably.

Oldham probably.
Not in both Cups in same season it hasn’t.

BB your crystal ball saw your friend Alfie May. NOT ROVERS.
Your sacked. :crying: :)

Doo-doo

Total guess on my part, just based on the amount of times Oldham emerge against us.
-
what an anti climax! I detest that attention seeking clown - Savage!
-
Not an exciting draw for us but based on that early season match it is one that we can go into with some chance of getting to R4.
I thought Robbie Savage brought some excitement to the draw and his reaction to some of the games was brilliant.
-
He is bit like that lad we all had in our class at school. Used to eat pencils and always had baked bean juice down his front.
-
Thats 25 away FA Cup matches out of last 39 so I’m lead to believe!
Add that to the number of Boxing Day away fixtures we get & its easy to see why you have to be a pessimist to follow the Rovers
-
At least the away end holds a good few thousand , oh hang on ........
-
I think Robbie Savage is a buffoon - and the draw process is crap.......why do we have to have the opinionated potted history of a club for each club?
Number 37 Fulchester Rovers who’s managers cat died last night whilst chasing a mouse!
Just get on with the draw!
-
Shit draw, and gives Mowbray a chance to tap up Whiteman. Bad result all round.
-
As disappointing as it is now is not the time for that long awaited draw against one of the top premiership sides, that would have been hugely frustrating.
-
I think that we were all hoping for a likely winnable tie at home and take the 82k.
-
...and we have the ability in the squad to progress in this one, we had this reaction two years ago when drawing Preston away in round three, that didn’t turn out too badly in the end.
-
Marine vs. Spuds and Crawley vs. L**ds will defo be on TV. BBC will snaffle up Liverpool vs. Villa no doubt. Newport love an upset so they'll got on vs. BHA. Chorley should be getting on, too.
Sure we'll be on iPlayer with some boring, biased commentator from BBC Hotpot involved.
-
5 consecutive away draws. Odds against that are 31/1.
-
In the last five seasons we have been drawn away 10 times and at home 4 times.

I don’t think anyone’s saying that we can’t win it, just that the odds are against us and we’d be much more likely to progress against a lower league side.

You cant - he's sackless ;)
-
Blackburn only 3 points behind the playoffs hopefully they keep doing well and get into the playoffs or close to the top 2 so they field a weakened team to avoid injuries against us and a fixture backlog

Agree to a point but one thing Robbie Savage did do (and others could follow) is give the Balls a great stir before picking each one
The histories were not very good though were they All the sevens - Brentford Ball 7 - 7th in Championship and 7 games unbeaten ? Sheffield Weds - just got new Manager Tony Pulis WOW staggering
-
Didn’t we beat Preston away some time ago? And we didn’t play our best 11 last time we played Blackburn.
Just saying.
;)
-
Winnable I reckon.
-
Watched our game against them on Saturday , we really should have had something out of it but could only turn one of our 23 shots in to one goal , poor from our front lads .
They can be got at no doubt but you will have to be clinical with your opportunities .
Give Armstrong a sniff and he will make you pay as he did ourselves .
Winnable no doubt .
-

we played Burnley twice in differant cup comps in same season, even same week but it was fa cup and think ldv vans trophy and both away lol
-

If he wanted to tap him up he can do that without us playing against them.
-

The hope is, Tyke, that Blackburn could potentially rest one or two of their star men for the FA Cup, especially if they’re somewhere near the top 6 by Christmas.

Go there and give it everything and we can win. Let’s face it if we aspire to be a Championship team next season then we need to be able to compete with the likes of Blackburn Rovers.
We won at Ewood park in our last game there and we were not far off doing so in the League Cup this season.
They won’t be relishing this draw themselves and will consider it a tricky tie. Game on, positive thinking and we can do it. Maybe win on penalties.
Lots of football to be played before the 3rd round.

make your mind up we either won our last game there or we didn’t LOL
-
Think he meant our last league fixture there..
We could win this one, and it wouldn’t be such an upset especially if we go into the tie in decent form. Similarly no one would notice - apart from us and Blackburn fans - if we lose..
This isn’t a headline getter - one which features in the final 3rd of the goals highlights programme.

It's the first time in seven years that Millwall have been drawn away in our first FA Cup game of the season. Absolutely typical the first we get a small club away and no one can go!
