No surprises there. Looks like Lokilo hasn't made it. Of late, he would have been my preference over John Taylor who I feel has still been short of what he's capable of since his Covid break. That said, pleased he was in the right place to score v Rochdale. Hope we see a better overall contribution from him tonight.

I hope the Richards, Smith, James combination can click a bit better from the off tonight.

Hopefully we won’t need no game changers and get at em from the off and kill the game off early

What’s up with Lokilo? Must be injured, he’d surely make the bench otherwise

It might be a case of concussion.
Didn’t he come off at WH after a blow to the head.

Lincoln playing Peterborough tonight and us at the weekend.
2 losses might derail their season.

Although a draw tonight would be the best result for us.
Hull currently losing to Accrington with 30 minutes to go

Lovely run by Richards, probably a bit lucky with the deflection but if you don’t shoot you don’t score and love that his instinct is always to drive towards goal and get a shot away.

Wimbledon don’t look a bad side but we’ve grown into the game and look good value for our lead. Would be great to grab another goal or two second half.

Thought we were excellent overall, if being overly critical I think the only thing you could say is that we didn’t create as much as you’d like in terms of clear chances.

Two excellent goals though and there was some pure moments of brilliance in that half.
Fejs goal,Richards megs,Smith pass etc.

Don’t wanna get carried away but I really do fancy us for promotion!

Ooooh close to conceding there - bit of ping pong in the area and they hit the post before Butler (I think) stabbed it out for a corner. We’ve not really got going this half and Wimbledon are still up for it - game’s not won yet so we need to get up for it.

The real test is this weekend, I didn't rate Wimbledon, average at very best, and although our one and two touch passing was good in the first half, they were not at the races.
The dip in the second half will be the concern if we do that against a really good team, who will take the opportunity.

Another win.  :rtid:

I dunno idler but I wouldn’t want him to be our manager.
It would be awful if he failed and fans got on his case.
Title: Re: TLOD V AFCW
Post by: idler on January 26, 2021, 11:55:09 pm
I was thinking more about the hard decisions with players rather than fans.
Stuart McCall is still a legend at Bradford City despite three spells as manager without success. Copps would have the same respect from fans diluting the criticism somewhat.
