Title: Good player news on the horizon
Post by: the vicar on August 04, 2021, 09:31:46 am
John Bostock and Ben Close are set to play 45 and 90 minutes today against Watford.  At least we are getting some players back

Bostock was ridiculed last season by many but because we can’t afford better he’s now a good player. Let’s hope you are right that he’s a good player for the sake of DRFC midfield this season. We need him to stand up and be counted when he’s totally fit.

John Bostock obviously has got quality somewhere in there, you don’t play for the clubs he has if not, there’s obviously a problem with his mentality or something. Let’s hope Richie can bring the best out of him!
Can remember watching him one game last season where he absolutely bossed it, then he seemed to fade away after that game, don’t know if it was fitness or what.

Bostock is a class act, there is no denying he has talent, what’s needed alongside that is commitment, hopefully Richie can get him to work his nuts off this season, if he does we have one of the best in the division.

It took Moore quite sometime to coax JB into signing for us then no sooner than he does Moore chuffs off, hardly going to make you want to stay is it? Things like that will have a massive affect on how you feel and that will show in your performance. Hopefully RS has had a long chat along with Copps with him. Let’s stop making judgement on our players before an actual competitive ball has been kicked.

He was a revelation at the Florests

He played 9 games in a whole season for them, hardly a revelation. He's already played more games for us than he for Forest.
