Title: Rovers attire when you’re not at the game.
Post by: Colin C No.3 on September 26, 2021, 10:59:57 am
If, for whatever reason I am not attending a Rovers game, I either catch it on ifollow or follow it on BBC Sports match update ( you know, line ups, stats & live text), but I always wear some sort of Rovers attire, to bring them luck…..well, that’s the theory.

I have Rovers socks, shorts & tops galore ( much to my wife’s chagrin), so yesterday I picked out my old favourite the blue with white thin hoops Belle Vue ´1922 The End Of An Era 2006´ tee shirt.

It very nearly got us ‘over the line’ too.

Now, what shall I wear to secure a victory on Tuesday night?

A pair of boots and the No26 in the starting line-up!

James Coppinger-signed red and white mankini and nothing else.

Only thing that's acceptable really.

Rovers shirt ( dependent on what colours I think we should be wearing) kiss the badge & then pray.
Always wait for minute 26 for something great to happen.

I think that's more likely to be drfcf in lower casings.

I don't understand the concept of 'Not being at the game' (pandemics excepted)

Over the past few years a bit of a tradition has begun for a few of us to get together in a pub and watch the Soccer Saturday programme if we’re not at the game. As you can imagine, I’m the only Rovers fan from a group of Spurs, West Ham and Arsenal fans! It’s a long time since I’ve owned a shirt but I generally have a classic Rovers pin badge on. I got the badge back in the 80’s when the club shop was in the same building as the social club at Belle Vue and it’s stayed with me ever since!
