I think it was pre-season in the Portsmouth local paper their manager said he was going to relie on young loanees from Tottenham Arsenal and Chelsea as the way forward
meaning get rid of the oldies, he had already got the sweeping brush out and got rid of a load (just like Sunderland) and he has continued on this theme
Their new "mickey mouse" investor ( new means maybe 3 years ago - once worked for "W.D." & we have one of our most loyal supporters living near Norton Disney - so we have something in common there !!) allegedly "seems to have run out of cash"
could say "Naught on from Disney" moneywise ? :scarf: :scarf:

To be fair to Pompey fans they've lots of in theory good players who are high earners but don't seem able to get promotion. If your serious about going up eventually you got to get rid of players who weren't capable
