That referee was awful again, he let too much fouling go without punishment.

He set the tone by having three kick offs to start the match.
And another two to start the second half.
It was all about the ref today.
Who gave him a four by the way, come on, own up.

Spoke to their No 2 5 or 6 times about the time taken for throws, spoke to Dahlberg time and time again about time taken for goal kicks. Then did nowt about it.

It was incredible how long the number two took to take a throw in.
The ref also wasn’t switched on enough to see that the Gills players were feigning injuries to waste time.

Do you remember someone suggesting that we play for sixty minutes with the ball in play and stop the watch when it goes out of play or the ref stops play.
It isn’t a bad idea you know.

Yes .... Guilty .... It's all I could think of yesterday as PD was taking 40 seconds to get ball into play for GKs
Throws ins an eternity and that Corner outrageous and of course the fake injuries ... and that bloke in SE corner tried to leave field after injury towards dug outs
We were poor yesterday it has to be said and didn't look like we could score before midnight BUT one thing is sure we can't score if the ball isn't in play
Running the clock down is not what we paid to watch ... we should have been there to watch a game and the sooner the fixed 30 each half comes in the better

Tbh ... it's been a thing for about 10 years and it defies belief .
There are hundreds (ok dozens) of websites devoted to this subject but why have "they" not given it a go. ?
Imagine a game with all the childish "s**t" gone . Tactically teams would still take the sting out of the game by taking their time but the Team behind would not be as penalised.
They would still go to the Corners to waste time but then the defender could foul the player with the ball and stop the clock
Would be better than now where a Team gets a Corner (in NW or SE corner of Ground) and player leaves ball just out of line ... Crowd protest ... Ref takes his time to wander over and when half way there player spots ball correctly
In the future it wouldn't matter a toss and I would love it because I even hate it on the rare times we may have done it
