Off Topic / Re: Record Shops??« Last post by Iberian Red on Today at 06:24:19 pm »Been a long time since I last walked out of Rhythm nation records with my wages spent on a Saturday afternoon. Heading up for the Barrow game from Cornwall and was just wondering does Doncaster have any Record (Vinyl) shops? Seems to be the only Town/City not to have one??? And if we don't have one, is there any others localish? Just googled Rhythm Nation, and to answer my own question it opened in 1993(!!!)and closed in 2009! 54
Rate the Ref / No foodbank collection tomorrow.« Last post by Jimmydee on Today at 06:23:30 pm »We won’t be doing our Saturday foodbank collection tomorrow because we’re concerned that we won’t be able to get sat at our usual seats in the south stand.
Thank all of the usual donors that have supported us throughout the season. I’ve had more time to see and help behind the scenes at the foodbank and I’ve certainly seen how the donations have genuinely helped young families in crisis. Fellow Rovers fans have helped in many different ways, from donating their anniversary gifts/money, Doncaster driving instructors association, people emptying their piggy banks as well as emptying their food cupboards and even current players and former players (Duggie) chucking money into the bucket and accepting the settling of VSC forum members bets. Thank you all. 55
Off Topic / Re: When a Government...« Last post by BillyStubbsTears on Today at 06:21:41 pm »''Rishi Sunak will today claim Britain is suffering from a “sicknote culture”, as he warns there is a risk of “over-medicalising” normal worries by diagnosing them as mental health conditions. Teresa May (I think it was) had it right over a decade ago. She said the Tories always had a reputation for being hard. She said they were seen as bas**rds, but competent bas**rds. They were hard and heartless, but they got things done. She said that they way things were going, they were going to end up being seen as incompetent bas**rds. They are truly f**king useless at running the country. In fact they've given up on even trying. So they just amplify the heartless bas**rd bit to stop other heartless bas**rds from voting for Farage. 56

Nice to hear of a couple more down there. 58
