The next Meet The Owners event will be held on Wednesday 4th February 2015, starting at 6:30PM in the Jibba Jabba Restaurant in the East Stand.

This bi-annual event, part of the In Rovers We Trust programme of activities, has always been well attended by supporters and has often provided lively debate from the opportunity for fans to question the Rovers' Board of Directors and seek clarity from the horses mouth on a wide-range of Rovers-related issues.

The event is all-ticket as the maximum number of attendees is limited, but some tickets still remain so grab yours soon from the ticket office if you would like to attend.

This year, as usual, the @VSCOfficial twitter account will be tweeting live updates from the meeting for the benefit of fans who cannot attend.  Follow the events or submit questions to ask on your behalf by using the hashtag #TweetTheOwners .  Fans who don't use Twitter can follow the event via the Twitter panel to the left on this site.

This week sees Doncaster Rovers announce the season ticket pricing for the 2015/16 season, swiftly followed by the new season tickets going on sale on Friday 17th January.

As an added incentive to loyal fans, there will also be a range of "money can't buy" prizes up for grabs for those committing to buying their season ticket within the first 7 days of sale.

The list of prizes is still to be fully confirmed but includes free replica shirts, the chance to take a penalty on the pitch with £50 up for grabs if you score, getting your season ticket for free, and entry into a draw to win £1879.  Full details will be released by the club from Monday 12th January.

Next season will also see reclassification of some of the pricing bands for sections of the stadium to help make it easier for supporters to secure a prime spot from which to support the team, plus other activities around the promotion of a singing section to help generate the big game atmosphere within the Keepmoat Stadium.

15 Nov 2014 - VSC AGM 2014

Saturday 15th November 2014 saw the VSC AGM 2014 take place in the Belle Vue Bar at the Keepmoat Stadium.

The meeting outcomes were as follows :

The following members were elected to serve on the board of the Trust for the next two years :

Martyn Bentley
Martin O'Hara
Andrew Audsley
Jay Baker

Board members who had stood down since the last AGM were thanked for their service to the Trust.  These were :

Jenny Lee (Co-opted)
Dave Burkitt
Glyn Wigley
Lee Croft
Mark Lister

The Trust would like to place on record it's thanks to Alan Bloor from the Barnsley FC Supporters Trust and FSF who acted as an impartial Elections Officer.

There were two issues that members were balloted upon:

Ballot 1
Would the membership accept that the Trust abstained from having audited accounts, as it has done in previous years, based on the high costs involved.

This is in our rules, but requires us to ask the membership annually for permission.  The accounts are still independently verified and submitted to the FCA for scrutiny.  The ballot resulted in favour of the request.

Ballot 2
Due to the change in reclassification of IPS's under the Cooperative and Community Benefit Society Act 2014, the Trust is asking its members for the opportunity to explore the principal of a change of name from the Viking Supporter's Co-operative.

The ballot resulted in favour of the request and the Trust will now explore this opportunity with input from members.

The AGM meeting presentation and Chairman's address notes are now available to download. The minutes of the meeting will follow.

The Viking Supporter's Co-operative is pleased to announce that this year's Annual General Meeting will be held on the 15th November 2014 at 11:00AM ahead of the local derby against Sheffield United.

The venue will once again be the Belle Vue Bar at the Keepmoat Stadium and all VSC members are invited to attend. Non-members are invited to observe proceedings and may join the trust once the AGM has been closed. Gavin Baldwin will be in attendance for a question and answer session following the close of the AGM.

The board would like to thank both Dave Burkitt and Jenny Lee, who have left the board this year, for their work in moving the trust forward. Nominations to become a director for this year have now closed, however the board can co-opt members on to the board all year round, so if you have a few hours of spare time you can dedicate to working on the behalf of Doncaster Rovers' supporters and representing them in projects with the club and community, please speak to one of the directors or email the secretary at secretary@drfc-vsc.co.uk.

Election to the VSC board is for a 2 year term, and the following directors are seeking re-election this year: Andy Audsley, Martin O'Hara, Glyn Wigley and Martyn Bentley.
Jay Baker, who was recently co-opted onto the board, will also be seeking his position ratifying.

The agenda for the AGM will be posted in the members section of the Viking Chat forum shortly. If you would like an agenda emailing out to you, please email the secretary at secretary@drfc-vsc.co.uk.

We hope to see you there.

What follows is a short 6-question survey that should take less than 5 minutes to complete.

By giving us your feedback you’ll help us strengthen the programme and realise more and more improvements, so please click below and tell us what you think:
