Can anyone recommend a good reliable free download for footy results for my mobile phone. Many Thanks. Pip.

Depends on the phone, if you have an iphone then live score is the best i've come across, if you don't have an iphone and are just surfing the web then probably the bbc site.

If you have an iPhone, Sky Sports Score Centre or something along the lines of that is the best one I find.

I've got FotMob Soccer Scores.  Its excellent and does a live table as well as stats  for most matches around the world

EDIT: sorry...forgot to mention that its for Android

If its an android phone then I use soccer livescores. You have to filter out most world wide leagues but its the best i've found

Or just open a browser and go to http://www.sportinglife.com/football/popup/vidiprinter.auto?/opt/ASFapache/htdocs/site/football/live/vidiprinter/text.insdat for the Sporting Life vidiprinter, which gives goals, sending offs, FT and HT updates.

I've upgraded my Google G1 for the HTC desire and it's in the post now :-)
