If it does get called off it'll most likely be down to snow on the pitch markings - it doesn't appear frozen as the ball/players seem to be moving much better than we saw last night.

On a slight tangent I think the last 3 seasons have shown why it would be so hard to have a winter break in this country - over the last 3 seasons the worst weather has come in 3 different months so in 2 seasons there would have been fixture carnage at the end of the season.

That would be doubly funny were it Andy D'Urso in charge.

\"Chase me round Old Trafford will you Roy?\"

You know I was kind of watching it on tv today and was very surprised by the amount of snow(!) which appeared to be coming down -- very heavy at times and it looked like they even had to shovel the pitch to see the markings as well.  To be honest I was worried that the players were really going to get a lot of injuries, but I believe they played the whole match because I watched the end (not paying too much attention mind) but I believe it was the full match.

Ipswich   3 - 0   Leicester

Ipswich ended a run of six straight defeats with victory over Leicester but only after a scare that the game would be abandoned because of heavy show.

Rory Fallon's lay-off set up David Norris to open the scoring, before Jason Scotland's low shot made it 2-0.

Shane O'Connor teed up Scotland to poke home a third goal but shortly after the break play was stopped for 17 minutes.

After the restart Leicester's Curtis Davies had a goal ruled out for off-side but a comeback was never likely.

The referee clearly wanted to abandon it, but didn't because Roy Keane was shouting in his face to keep it on, because he knows that his team is probably not capable of beating Leicester 3-0 again while ever he is in charge.

It was completely wrong to keep on stopping the game to clear the lines. It's not good for the players disrupting the game like that, and if the lines needed clearing twice during 45 minutes of football then clearly the game wasn't fit to go on.

Plus it was on Sky - they don't like to have their schedules interrupted?
