Pride of Yorkshire
« on December 29, 2010, 05:55:03 am by RedJ »
(not sure if I've put this in the right place, although not certain it belongs in Viking Chat)

Is it me, or does the Pride of Yorkshire forum seem a bit.. well, unwelcoming?

Just signed up, and instantly, it looks very off-putting indeed, and I can't quite put my finger on why.

Anyone else have a similar opinion?

It is relatively a new site and everyone is welcomed equally. It hasn't yet developed a 'clique', and only time will tell whether its members will allow one to evolve.

Perhaps it's just a case of getting used to its format.

That could be the case.

If all your posts are as well constructed as the one on the Avi Cohen thread it shouldn't come as any surprise to you!

For saying \"YNWA\"? If you didn't get what that meant, it's you'll never walk alone...

In fact, I've edited the post, pointing that out. I don't see what was so bad about that.

Sorry for not being as \"down with the kids\" as you obviously are! Like I said, if you'd have constructed your post a little more clearly you might not have come across as a disrespectful thick cnut!

You don't have to be \"down with the kids\". You just need to know he was at Liverpool for a season and you get what it means.
