I agree with you on the Jaime Peters, he definately made an impact when Ipswich beat us, there is only one downside if we were to sign him though and that is he is to tall to fit into a Sean O'Driscoll team!

As for Gaven, I was very dissapointed with his performance vs DC United last night!

Mills (done a great job)
Muzzy (Long Term Deal)
Euell (rather him than Brooker)
A big centreback

Before somebody tells me about our wage bill i already know we would struggle to get all these but whats a wishlist for eh ?

Would be great but out of our league I think, especially if Hudders go up. Think they would want over 1m.

To expand though, I think we need a goalkeeper, 2 centre halfs and another striker. Then maybe get Mason for another season and hope he stays fit.

For me he's doing ok actually. Decent one on one shot stopper. Seems to get lost on corners and freekicks but hes still learning.

And the extra amount of ball visibility isnt helped with Martis and Friend being in front of him.

My thoughts exactly! Our shopping list will look very different if we're in League One next season.

Time enough to speculate when we've got those 50 points.

1. Everyone to stay fit.
Joe Murphy, Kilgallon (Loan), Scott Doe and Joseph Mills, Moussa and Mason (Loan), Sam Vokes (Loan)

2. Players to go out would be Wilson, Thomas, Sulli, Brooker, Locky, Shiels, Hird, Keegan and Souza. Obviously I would like to see a few extra new faces to improve the squad.

So the team I would like to see start next season would be.

Murphy

JOC Doe Kilgallon Mills

         Gillet

Copps Oster Stock Woods

         Sharp

Subs: Woods, Dumbuya, Friend, Mason, Moussa, Hayter, Vokes

i am with coventry wanting championship football. With a two week break the board and manager need to bring a striker who can assist James Hayter with goals. Two points from three games will not keep us in the division. Euel and Moussa and Mason might fit our wage structure but will they get the goals we need to win games? I hope JR and the board are behind us staying in this division or is it to expensive for them with little uptake in season tickets. Without goals we will go down we have eight very difficult games. Sheff U have already gained four points over the last three games. Loan striker please to keep us in this division.

I think releasing him was our biggest mistake SOD has ever made, we never got to see him on the ball hardly, and since we released him in 2009 he captained Swindon to the play-off final, although they did lose (and he was suspended) and has now Captained Brighton to the top of league one, I would absolutley love it if he were to resign for us. (Plus I have 2 shirts with his name and number on back, one was a player's shirt and the only game he played for us that season was the last game of the season against Wolves away).

For those of you who haven't guessed...

     Couldn't agree more! Dickens had the 'Reaper Touch' when he was at Wednesdays and it doesn't appear to have altered much. I know Dickens said they might look into the state of the pitch for possible cause of injuries, but if its ok... I'll remain scepticle.

I don't think we're going down. Bold words, but if you look at Scunthorpe, Preston and The blunts there is no way those 3 are avoiding the drop. They are all terrible, getting worse (apart from the freak blunts victory over leeds), and are heading down to division one.
True, it doesn't completely stop the wobbly feeling I get about our results right now, but I think we can count ourselves lucky that those three teams above are just so poor.

When all is said and done with the injuries, I believe we can count ourselves very, very lucky this season. Football is a squad game nowadays and for whatever reason, we haven't had a good squad (mostly I suspect because we haven't bought anyone of any decent quality apart from Sharp) which had meant that a couple of injuries has meant poor players filling half decent players positions.
I really hope in the summer that the board and SOD and ROK get together and decide to buy some quality throughout the squad instead of one player and heaping our chances onto him. We all know that our players right now are mostly not regular top end of the table players. Of all of them you could perhaps argue that only Sharp, Stock, Coppinger, Hayter are really top notch championship players?

What it shows is what we all knew - that our strength in depth is non-existant.  We went from playoffs (at worst) material to freefall in the space of about a fortnight, during which time JR strengthened the side by getting Kilgallon in.  JR knew that we were a gnats cock off sustaining a promotion push, so he went for it with a big loan signing to add that bit of steel to our soft underbelly, and then the injuries came and came and came.

I hope we (meaning the fans and the club together) can see just how close we came to having a cracking season to remember, and learn from that.

Whoever suggested Smithies, forget it. He's Premiership bound, and probably England eventually.

I would like to see another young goalkeeper of the Gary Woods mould who could back up Sulli in his last year or two and gary who is starting to get more confident and skilled. Moussa coming in on permanent would be a great move and give Copps some back up/competition. Euell would provide a decnt enough back up for Billy or Hayter. The defence seems to need some thought, but where would be up to Sean, a good footballing centre half like Kilgallon would be interesting if he could be persuaded that he needs to be realisitc about wages, but no doubt Sean and Richard have targets in mind. Having Gillett fit would be good, but maybe we need more in midfield. No matter who it is they have to be sensibly priced, a big lad up front like Vokes would be great if we could find one from Lg.1 to give us the other option if teams intend to pack midfield against us. He would have to accept not playing every match though. Tough choices for JR, management and players alike.

Alnwick permanently if he's any good.
Moussa
2 centre backs
Pacy striker
A winger (to give us another option - we don't have many wingers and it's very rare we can switch things around and add a bit of width to stretch opponents)
Possibly Ryan Mason to replace Shiels, depending on his availability from Spurs.
