Don't doubt the injury had some effect on Haye's physical and mental state, but watching the fight I'm not sure that even a 100% Haye would have been much different on this occasion. He could never really plant his feet as each time he threw he was (understandably) moving away at the same time to avoid Klitschko's incessant jab. The size difference was just too much and he couldn't get close. It could be bridged occasionally against Valuev who had very limited ability and no speed, WK is much better than many gave him credit for. He's formulaic but it's a winning strategy and you can see why, he never let Haye dictate at all.Controversially, I'd like to see a rematch even though Haye did little on the night to warrant one. Being fair to him he's totally inexperienced at the weight but he's a great fighter with some good qualities. It would be interesting to see how he learned from the experience of the other night and if he could come back with a different game plan.
