Just said on Radio Sheffield the new Bridge over the railway that was cancelled over xmas has been rescheduled, work to start tomorrow, so if you are coming that way allow a bit more time

No, in the paper it said it would be \"completed\" by November 2012.
They have to put the big metal sections in. They only got 1 in on Christmas Day due to the wind.
No one has been on site working on it today, downed tools until they could carry on with the section over the railway line

Bit of a disaster all round for them. They must be having to pay compensation to Network Rail if they are closing the line again, they were told they only had Christmas Day due to no trains running.

i would think that they wont be able to shut the railway down untill after around 1am,so pointless closing the road untill late evening surely.
but what do i know? this is the building industry after all .

The big crane never left even though it was apparently booked for a job in Scotland.

amazing what money can do

i sure now this project will go massive over budget

pity that the road planners never listened to police advice when the road was first built saying it should be dual carriage way but typical cost-cutting has now cost more in the long run
