With these two not even in the squad for West Hams last game, and the fact they have added a few more strikers on deadline day. Anybody think we could go for one of them or both when the loan market opens again?

Didn't he play at Villa Park against us a couple of seasons back in the Carling cup?
He caused controversy that led to them scoring and dumping us out of the cup, or was it the referee that let his foul go and they scored from the situation?
I still regard him as a cheat.

he did yeah, i went to that game as i was working down there at the time, the ref helped him for sure. enjoyable game that was bar the result.

i drove from devon through the snow to that game, taking a couple of Norwegian blokes along for the experience.  They were keen Rovers fans (viking connection) until they spotted Carew playing for Villa.

I remember Chambers and O'Connor playing out of their skins and not giving Ashley Young any part of the game (and Sully charging out 25 yards to collect the ball (and Young) in very aggressive fashion.

Young saw Sulli coming and bottled it. Equally I have rarely seen sulli move so quick.

yeah that was a good game we dident look much worse than them they just like all good teams took every chance young dident get a lookin all game great defending
