Any ex-miners in here?

Hailing from Edlington, mining has always interested me. I've recently moved to an address over the road from the old Newdigate Colliery in Bedworth, Warwickshire. All traces of the buildings are long gone and where they were is now a flat field, but traces remain. The huge grassed hill behind the site is obviously the spoil heap, and there is still the cut of the old rail line out of the site, and a few other bits and bobs here and there.
Does anyone know what the features I've put up on YouTube are? Apologies if they're too specific to this site, but they really intrigue me!

Yes, they did work before the forum was changed.
Not looked how to link them to make them play on the new forum, but here's the links to take you to the YouTube page.

I`m just guessing here, but where I live in Stainy, my back garden backs onto an old railway embankment that went from Hatfield pit to the Stainforth and Keadby canal, at the canal end of this railway line there used to be a tippler house where the full coal waggons from the pit were shunted and the coal was tipped down a chute into a barge and tom puddings waiting on the canal. The grave type thing in the the first video may be part of a turn table mechanism to enable the loco to turn around to go back to the pit.
Here`s a picture of the old Tippler house at Stainforth

Filo,
Your comments bring back memories. I played as a kid by the canal, tippler and tom puddings for many hours in the early 60's.
I would normally go there via Ramsker Lane, not sure about the spelling. I think a family called Arrup lived in a big house by the canal at the end of the lane? Probably my accuracy of memory is distorted in the passing of time as I left Stainy in 1966 just after we won the world cup.
My father and two brothers worked at Hatfield Main. My brother still lives in Snake lane, just down the road from you, and when we meet up at the KM we have over 110 years of supporting Donny.
We have witnessed a lot worst periods than what we are going through right now.
