Just read that Bob Hoskins has revealed that he was diagnosed with parkinsons last autumn and that he is going into retirement. Poor man, it is such an insidious horrible disease.

It doesn't seem possible that he is 69 either.

Very sad, hopefully he manages to cope with the condition well in his retirement. One of the most underrated British actors of modern times.
