Billy Sharp for me is almost irreplaceable,Garner is of a similar standard, and is definitely worth signing,i'd say around the two hundred and fifty thousand mark at most, wage wise we must be able to afford him,to get out of this division you need two regular scorers up front or a midfielder or winger that chips in regular,Joel Grant for me is another worth signing, quick feet, plenty of speed, plays on either wing,or up front, capable of beating a player or two,he's at Wycombe and is well capable of stepping up a division, and coming north wouldn't be a problem he was at Crewe before in the past.
Did someone really say that Garner was of a similar standard to Billy Sharp?
I Haven't seen either of them in the flesh this season,Joe Garner i've seen play against us in the championship a few times, and was impressed with him, plus a few live games on tv,plus highlights,Joel Grant is mostly highlights and the odd live game on tv,so no i'm not an expert on either of them, they are just two players that i've always rated highly,i thought Garner was as near to Billy as we could get,i obviously rate Billy a lot higher, and thought he was well undersold for his ability,a lot of signings at all different clubs are signed,by agents sending cds of there best performances, the reason i think Garner would be a good signing i've already made,he did pretty well at Watford, before Zola's foreign revolution,at Forest he didn't really get a sustained run if i remember, and he did well at Carlisle, just my opinions.

There is no possible way of knowing how good an all round player they might be, just from watching highlights!
But if they regularly feature in highlights, it suggests that they are regularly involved in the best bits of the game, so must be quite good.
