I know this a bit off subject but has anyone heard when or if the world title fight has been given a date yet and if so when are tickets available.
Idid hear rumour it might be at KM in April.

Long way to go before its agreed. Both fighters will want to fight at home. Jamie definitely won't want the fight in Mexico, will come down to money if no agreement is reached.

I read that if he were to win the world title, then he would want to defend his title at the Keepmoat.

I spoke to Jamie a few months ago in the local (as you would) and he said he was hopeful of sorting something out for April time but wasn't confident he would get it in this country, also tried getting on the undercards at kel Brooke's next fight.

Dennis Hobson (Jamie's promoter) tried to lead a consortium to take the Wendies over a couple of years ago and I'm not sure if he is a director at Hillsborough so i think that he would favour Hillsborough to the Keepmoat as a boxing venue.

It depends on numbers/popularity etc.
Would be great to have the fight at the Keepmoat, but better fighters like Carl Froch have struggled to get a fight on at the City Ground; just a case a timings really.
