Green is a word in the phrase "green shoots of recovery" (from last week)

There is no green on the keepmoat pitch. Therefore, in some ways, we play better on green (away from home).

The players aren't stupid. Well, most of them aren't anyway. They won't suddenly have a moment of madness with the ball at their feet and give it away thinking they've got 9 Plymouth players on the pitch around them

I've got to say I agree, they're used to passing to a certain colour, green isn't one they're used to and it could make a difference.

Not sure what their excuse was last Saturday though
