Bob
Healy made that crack back in the 70s when Howe was Tory Shadow Chancellor and he'd had a go at Healy in a speech in the Commons.
Some cracking quips in the old days of politics. The current lot are 'kin useless.
Harold Wilson apparently wrote on a memo that Tony Benn once sent him about economic policy, "I haven't read this, I don't intend to read it, but I disagree with every word, " and sent it back.
Nye Bevan once asked Wilson where he was born. Wilson said "I wasn't born, I was forged!" Bevan replied, "Forged is it? I always thought you were a fake."
