According to the Free Press, and I'm pretty sure they're right, tomorrow is the nearest weekend to 'that' Pompey game.

Be nice to take a step closer to getting back to the Championship a year to the weekend we were robbed of 3 points that could have helped, even if we were pretty much dead and buried by that point.

Amazing how our fortunes have turned around in a year. I have to say that I never thought then that we could get back into such a position in such a short space of time. I thought we were well and truly phu***d and on a steep, slippery slope.

Credit where it's due: Saunders, Flynn, the Board, the players, the fans have all played a part. I don't really care what happens from this point. I've got me club back.

I was saying that at the start of the Carlisle game, any other club would of won that game and it would have been plain sailing from then on, not good old Rovers though as that would be far too easy, instead i'm left bricking it today
