New Manager

Really hope Flynny gets an extention on his contract. Never easy to come in half way through a season which he did and carry on churning out results. We had numerous stuuters but always came back strong after each occaision showing not only character in the team but manager as well not to be put off from the final goal. His additions to the team through the loan market have being invaluble to the team without a doubt, the players seem confy with him and Jones running the show to so why change a winning formula. Next season is going to be tough without a doubt but with the same continuity and a few extra resources sourced by the little welsh wizard we may suprise a few.

I like your optimism but we should be under no illusion that the Championship is light years ahead of League One. When we were in the Championship, losing at home to Carlisle would have been a disaster. Same as away to Bury. We need to strengthen, but the management and board all know this.

We built this team to compete in league one. Work will be done over the summer.

Having any sort of unrest and doubt on the management is a recipe for disaster. Even though im not a massive fan of flynn we should get him tied down on another year contract, jones as the assistant and get preparing for next year! I hope this is not some sort of sick dream im in!

NOW YOU BETTER BELEIVE IT..........THE REDS ARE GOING UP!!

Now we are back on line, the news is that Flynny is given 2 week extension;

Decision on contracts for next season to be made by the owners on Tuesday. I hope that the VSC will be present as part owners of the club!

Anyway, it would be good to clear the air and sort out the personnel as soon as poss.

I would give the current management a 1 year contract, with a rollover depending on performance. Target staying up, a big ask.
