Very, Very, Very fitting !

Oh my lord. I was quite calm for 94 mins. But hey that will go in to the history books and will be remembered beyond our lifetimes.

Copps does the business when needed. He is a Rovers Legend! I remember the hatrick he scored to get us to the L1 play off final. He does it again.

He tried his hardest to miss it. I thought time had stood still. You dream of endings like that but you never think it will happen. The beer will be flowing in Oxfordshire tonight

Can see it being overtaking Hayter at Wembley and even Sir Francis at the Britannia as THE ultimate Rovers clip.

Just shown it on BBC. Absolutely wonderful scenes at Griffin Park.

And just in case you don't believe it, it's now official on BBC

How fitting Copps should get the winner.

Hopefully now he won't be going anywhere.

Absolute rovers legend, still can't believe we're champions, we never make it easy on ourselves but what a finish! Only dissapointment was not being there in person.

Copps has another year on his contract I believe. I would love to see him stay with us until he decides to end his career.

After all,  his game has never been about pace, and he has never really suffered any bad injuries, so I can see him playing until he is in his late 30s no problem.

What a guy! Fitting that he should get the goal!

Don't think anyone envisaged that when he jumped off the bus and went off to Forest last September.

Already a Rovers legend, he's now passed into Rovers sainthood. Legend.

And massive credit to Paynter for rolling it across to him when the temptation must have been there to go for the headlines himself.

On SSN Copps said him and Paynter had had a 'set to in training' about passing when through on goal and that it was ironic that that's what happened - glad they did :scarf:

Rob I was at the game and didn't realise where Copps was when the pen was taken but on the various clips/photos he is on the edge of our box.
He must have bust a gut to catch up with Paynter for the "tap-in", and you say his game has never been about pace. :woohoo:
We were all watching Billy, we never saw Copps until the last second but what a vision of beauty he was!!!!!
Loved it when the ref told him the game hadn't finished and to put his shirt on, Copps begging the crowd to give it back a moment to treasure.
