Shef United next season!
« on May 06, 2013, 05:18:01 pm by MiKA »
So they went down with a whimper in the playoffs this season and that was no surprise really as they've been dreadful.

Next season Division 1 will be even tougher, Wolves and Bristol City will be gunning for a quick return to the Championship and will be willing to spend big for it.  Peterborough will be there or there abouts, Coventry will also be spending big (even though they're broke) Brentford or Yeovil will be strong and even Gillingham and Rotherham will be up for the challenge!

Can the Blades finish in the top 2?  highly unlikely
Can they finish in the top 6? possibly
Can they go up via the playoffs?  NOT A CHANCE.

The blades are in the doggy do do     :byebye:

Sums up precisely the precarious position that this once ''massive'' (laugh) club now finds itself in.

Was saying this earlier, they are fooooked next season, much tougher league than this so no hope for them. Shame as it would have been better filling the away end with proper blokes next season but we'll have to do with 200 or so jessies from darn sarf instead.

Agree with the above - this season was the best opportunity for many a season to get out of this League.

The past few seasons have had more quality sides in League 1 and next season will be tougher than this one.

Thank God we took our chance and bounced straight back up!

For what it's worth, I think the Blunts made a mistake sacking Danny Wilson when they did.
A knee-jerk decision to get rid of him and another to appoint Morgan.
They've paid a big price.

Yep the damage was done when they foolishly sacked Danny Wilson ; the decision and timing still puzzles me.
A case of a bunch of numpty fans forcing the Chairman's hand...........utter madness.

I don't really care what happens to the Blades next season, as we will not be playing them. They will be mocking Rotherham instead of us, hope Rotherham beat them.

Rotherham will finish top 10 next season.

I like the Blades. We always have good banter with their fans,  and I always enjoy our trips to Bumhole Lane,  but since they appointed Morgan as manager I've wanted them to fail spectacularly. The bloke has no place in football. He's a complete Kitson.
