Settle this argument

In this age of health and safety, why are there so many disabled toilets in shops and pubs? Why don't they get them fixed?

I worked in a pub in Oslo on the door for best part Of 15 years and in all that time never once did a wheelchair customer come in.

But the pub was still forced to spend shit Loads on a downstairs bog for any wheelchair customers.

The pub Also had to Get an lift installed to which opperated down the rails Of the stairs.

Ok the pub got a small grant towards the installasion
Of facilitys for ironside etc etc.

But what gets my goat with all This Crap, not one drink was served to any wheelchair customer as none ever came in.

Also we talk about health and safety, what if a customer had come in with a wheelchair.he or she has used the lift on the stairs to Get to the sports bar downstairs, which is a slow process i must Add.

Now where is the health and safety ,if the pub was ever to catch on fire while the wheelchair customer or god forbid customers were downstairs?

Me and you can all run up the fire exit which was the stairs and out.but what i the process for customers in a wheelchair i Ask?

Do you put them on the lift first or do you let every other bugger out first then get the wheelchair customers out?

Should be a sign on the door 'not wheelchair friendly'
Sorry to say,as for sure if a wheelchair was on the stair
Lift not many other People would be Able to Get out ASAP

Who would want to buy a garage in the winter?

Hence they have the garage sales in the summer.

Its a seasonal thing fella i think

It's the same with Next. They were advertising a spring sale in their window and I needed a new spring for the loft hatch so I popped in. Couldn't see owt but clothes and soft furnishings in there.

And another thing: At work they've got a "smoking shelter" outside. I watched it for a good twenty minutes but didn't see it smoking so I went and set fire to it. I'm up on a disciplinary now. Some people have got no gratitude.

Do you know what makes my blood boil?.............Signs that say £50 fine for dogs fouling in public places. How many dogs can actually read, never mind afford it?

There was a urinal in the McDonalds at Markeaton Roundabout on the A38 a while back with a sign above it which read:

"Do not use due to faulty plumbing"

I thought "That's ok I won't use it due to faulty plumbing, I'll use it due to me needing a piss."

Ruined my shoes.

I always want to write 'Oh, there, there. Don't worry' whenever I see that stupid sign reading 'Door Alarmed'.

One evening I was using The London Underground and I was getting sick of hearing the repeated message of 'Mind The Gap'. Anyways, I gets off at Oxford St so I did, and stood outside the closed shop. At 0700 the following day, here comes the manager and unlocks the doors. 'Morning' says I feeling rather tired and dishevelled, but with a sense of pride and a job well done feeling, 'I've been minding your shop all night and nothing to report sir'. He just looked at me funny and locked the doors behind him.

Another example of Northern hospitality, generosity and kindness re-buffed by these Southern wide boy types.

Products you buy should actually do what they claim to do.

I bought a Goblin Teasmaid a few years back, and it would only make Tea.

If lifting weights burns off fat, why aren't fat people slim because of all the extra weight they lift?

I used to buy powered laundry detergent until I read the fine print and realized I was using it wrong, as it said way down at the bottom 'keep dry'.
