Just read an article on how Much health tourism could have cost the
NHS.

Its reported close to 200million pounds and only 16% Of that is re couped back.

How can This be allowed and let to happen?

Its not just labour that fcuked  up as the conservatives today are doing sweet bugger all to fix This drain on the NHS.

do know all in the inns and outs ,but i seem to recall that whenever
I left the uk on Trips around europe i Made sure i had an E-11 form filled out just incase i needed medical Help in europe.

are most of health tourism cases that land in uk to use tje NHS from out Of europe?and why do they pickle uk is it because they know they will not be chased doen for paymrnt

I note the EU has asked for evidence of health tourism.  So far the government hasn't provided any.  Possibly an IDS moment, they believe it to be true, so it must be!!

IDS will find some numbers to make a case that the Mail will parrot out. And they will bear no resemblance to reality. Twice this year, the Office for National Statistics has taken the unprecedented step of publicly criticising him for lying over official statistics. But their criticism gets a tiny write up in the papers, whereas the original lie makes splash headlines.

And it int just IDS. The OBR formally wrote to Cameron earlier this year after a barefaced public lie, in which he said that the OBR had shown that Austerity had not depressed growth. They had said nothing of the sort and acidly pointed this out in their letter.

All Govts spin. You factor that in. But previous Govts did not treat people with such contempt that they would lie openly and just expect people to believe them. But that seems to be the approach of this lot. But what do you expect when they have bas**rds like the Mail as their mouthpiece? The Mail has been lying and getting away with it for years. Look at this headline from last week.

It's a lie. They include in that number every WI student in Britain (who collectively contribute something like £3bn per year to Britain in fees and living costs), spouses of working people, retired EU pensioners living in the UK and funding themselves etc. the actual number of unemployed EI citizens in the UK is 40-50,000. But the Mail treat people with such contempt that they know they can get away with printing this shite. And I'll guarantee that millions of people in the UK are now furious that there are 600,000 EU dole-wallah scroungers stealing dole money from us.
