Maybe the time is ripe to place the FL Golden Share into a trust to protect it from unscrupulous prospectors and give us something to fall back on, have a board of trustees to ensure we protect our league status should the unthinkable happen

No, I was thinking more along the lines of a board of trustees compromising of the CEO, VSC, supporters club, Exiles and an independent fan not connected with any of the others

I dont think you can, Filo.  I think the entity that controls the players (normally "the club") has to hold the Golden Share.  Thats why Coventry ended up in so much difficulty and had to explain where it sat.
