Did you know Bo Derek comes from Barnsley? Not the famous actress of course - a chap called Derek with terrible body odour who works at our place.

Years ago I worked for Haven, (the caravan park) the first year my manager was a chap called Andy Williams, when he left his job was taken by a lad called Scott Walker.....

I work with a Brendan Foster, used to work with a Mick Jagger,also before he passed away used work with  a Graham Taylor ,his father was cousins with the ex England manager, both from Worksop.

I went to College in 1969 with a lad called Alec Jeffreys - and told him he nearly had a famous name  :scarf:

Prof Sir Alec Jeffreys FRS the went on to discover/develop DNA fingerprinting  :chair:

About 10 years ago, a bloke called Michael Jackson worked for me...

I used to have a customer in Aberdeen by the name of Ronald McDonald. He always looked like he was hoping for the grim reaper to put him out of his misery. Should've just changed his name!

I got some abuse from Rovers fans begging me not to sign for us this at the beginning of this season.

At Uni one of my tutors was a Dr. Doctor. I kid you not!

Sitting in the east stand is Mark Nurse, he recently got married and his wife never took his name , as she is a nurse and didn't want her name badge to say Nurse Nurse.

i know a P nurse no joke what made it worse was he couldnt switch his first and middle names round as his middle name was anthony.
