Teams who flash the cash
« on February 16, 2014, 06:54:41 pm by Tiddysdad »
First of all I must apologies if I start to waffle as I’ve had a couple of the local beverages. I have a very close friend who has just done a lot of work on the Forest Ground. Re-building the directors bar and knocking through a couple of boxes to create a master chairman’s Box. The firm he works for are owed £300,000. It appears that they aren't the only company to be owed money. From what I hear is “Silverdale coaches” have not been paid – the “Catering” company haven’t been paid and the  sparkies haven’t been paid.

I think we should think before we start to call our directors.

Depends what their payment terms etc are though. Finance will always push it as long as possible before paying. All businesses are the same.

Notice how quickly BT expect you to pay your bill if you still us e them of course?!) 10 days now. And then they have the cheek to fine you a fiver if you're late! I couldn't possibly, of course, tell you what's happened to the timescales in which they pay their suppliers!

and think back you used to get the bill, then about  3 weeks later the red then a couple of weeks later you would get a brown one, and then you could phone up and agree a payment plan or date as long as it was before the next bill date, and yep in my young days I did it fairly frequently....
