The Walking Dead.

Right, I've just finished Prison Break on Netflix, did Breaking Bad before Christmas and I've tried House of Cards, Sons of Anarchy and just can't get into them.

I've heard TWD is awesome, have people seen it? Is it worth buying the boxsets?

It's alright. I found it watchable.

For me this year is about 24 returning in May and the Breaking Bad spin off later in the year.

House of Cards - enthralling, I love it, mind you I adore anything with Spacey in it.

Walking dead - fantastic, enjoyed watching all of it, im pretty sure you can get it on netflix US, to do this you need to download "Media Hint" for Google Chrome, then you can watch US Netflix (much better)

Prison Break was a great concept, great first season but tailed off badly. You get the feeling they wanted to do a couple of seasons but were then coerced into writing extra by the network. Jumped the shark when he the tattoo lasered off.

Game of Thrones is brilliant, new season coming up and only ten or so episodes per season so easy to catch up. Not really into fantasy myself but it is very watchable, and they are not afraid to kill off main characters so you never know what is coming.

Like Walking Dead too.

I agree with what people are saying about Prison Break, first season was fantastic, the second season was a bit slower - but you they had to write it so it went somewhere. The third season seemed a bit daft, but once into it- it was a good concept. The fourth season was very far fetched but still a good watch.

I keep meaning to get into 24 on Netflix, but the shear amount of episodes just puts me off. New Breaking Bad will be good.

Speaking of Kevin Spacey, I often wondered wtf your username was about keyser_soze! I understand now.

TWD is good, but aspects of it are very long winded, and there are several facepalm moments. I just hope it doesn't go the way of Lost!!!

I downloaded and watched the first episode of True Detective last night. It was a bit deep and points but I think it will be good, Matthew McConaughy is very  good in it.

I'm prepared to be disappointed by the new season of 24, couldn't get into the Wire.

The first few seasons of Lost were IMHO the best telly of the last decade, until it all went mad and they started time travelling. I loved the depth of the characters and Hawaii as a location was stunning visually.

Best show on TV. Some episodes/seasons are better than others, of course, but if you wanted the zombie-slaying without the drama and the character development, you'd stick to the B-movies. I find the slower pace at times to be helpful in building towards the (always amazing) half-season and season finales.

SOA is great too, but it took me quite a while to really get into it. It's well-worth persevering with.

The best series hands down is game of thrones, it's amazing.
The walking dead is very good, as was Ray Donnovan
