Loud & proud

C'mon people chins up! Lets sell out Leicester (If we don't it would be a very poor show) Let's get behind the team hope for a result & hope others go our way, If it doesn't & we do go down then so be it. we go again next season League 1 could well be a lot different than last season with the likes of Rotherham, Scunny, Chesterfield, Barnsley, York in it. It won't be the end of the world.
I remember coming away from Sutton United 1-0 with about 15 minutes left thinking it doesn't get worse than it & I was right it didn't we are punching above our weight & this season was going to be tough, all in all I have enjoyed it much more than last season (Brentford aside) & we won the league.
I thought we were surperb in the 1st half yesterday but remember people we were playing a side with a wage bill probably 3 times as big as ours & hoping to play in the biggest league in the world next season they were always going to turn the screw at some stage, As fans I feel we don't look at the opposition enough & admit we are beaten by a better side, we are Doncaster Rovers not Real Madrid, enjoy the ride FFS.

It's what's happened since the victory at Elland Road that's got most fans chins on the floor Albert, you make some good points but we only needed another 3 points from the remaining 21 after beating Leeds. It's not a case of punching above our weight in this instance, we've thrown it away!

Agreed, Surrey. As Albert says, I'll be there at Leicester cheering on the lads. The time for inquests isn't now, but at the end of the season.

Fuly agree with Surrey Rover we have put ourselves in this mess we were in such a great position after the Leeds win and then we have well and truly f***ed it up. I will be at Leicester supporting the team we need the 3points in my opinion it's the only outcome that will mean us staying up.

Great posts & it goes without saying we will all be cheering the lads on & hopefully the players can give it their all & treat it like a cup final, it's just the way it has all unfolded that galls me, we have had more than a few chances to put this to bed, still pissed off & gutted at the minute. The optimism will return come Saturday lunchtime,  (even though the head will be saying different), it always does & is one of  the reasons why we put ourselves through it.

For me, this post wins the "most balanced and sensible post of the weekend" award.
