It's getting nearer and nearer,i must have looked at the league table a thousand times, hoping i am seeing it wrong,or it's a misprint.
It's going to be pure hell later tonight, especially since if it's on i'll be listening to it on the radio, every time the commentator mentions Birmingham,my old April's going to be pouting like a Good un'.
Macheda used to be music to my ears, now every time i hear his name,it's going to be like a lump hammer hitting my thumb.
How i hope that the 'Scottish Messi' Maloney turns on the style, and the battering ram that is Fortune finishes the Brum off.
Please Leon Barnett we forgive you for choosing Wigan over us,pay us back with a clean sheet.
Please all the Wigan pie makers don't pack any of your rubbish onto the team coach!!.

Come on Uwe Rosler you have a chance of the Premiership, get your boys up for it,destroy them, and leave them a broken team for saturday :scarf: :rtid: :boxing:

Include me out !

At the end of the day (metaphorically speaking) we will either survive or we wont. That decisive "moment" may be / or may happen at Leicester or even some other Ground where we are not even playing

So whilst I look forward to seeing Cardiff and Wolves at Donny rather than Scunny and Blades I know I cant affect the outcome by torturing myself and so it will be avoid all Media especially tonight as I believe things can only become clearer as opposed to "resolved"

Bayern v Real for me - then a good walk with dog between 12.00 and 14.30 on Saturday

You're in Brum as well? I was half-tempted to go, but I think I'll settle for Bayern v Real and updates by phone. It will be bad enough on Saturday at Leicester without going through the same experience tonight.

I'm not sure I'm even going to bother checking on the game, not until it's over anyway. I think Birmingham will get the point they require if not tonight then Saturday, we are as you would say, a dead man walking!

It could release the pressure on the players Saturday if Birmingham get the point tonight. That would helpfully make them play better to possibly snatch 3 points

I'll be nervously following the game, even if I don't really want to. Having been largely positive throughout the season, I have watched in some sort of glazed-over horror as most of the teams around us have shown the willing and resolve to get the point(s) they've needed to stay up while we have continued to bottle it in a way that I thought was impossible for a team managed by PD (which shows precisely how much I know). I know some of the Brum fans are fearing the worst, but I wouldn't be too surprised if they too come out fighting tonight and win or draw the match - they've certainly got more of a chance of getting something on Saturday than we have as well (and I don't think that I am being too negative in my thinking there - though, again, I know the square root of diddly-squat).

Hopefully Brum will continue their dire run, but I fear the fat lady is waiting in the wings. How is it that we almost always seem to orchestrate such a painful end to a season? I'm just pleased that my impending nuptials are the following Satdi and not this.

Cheers Rob - they are sorted, I think... Just a few last things to get done now, but my weekends of late (esp. Saturdays) keep getting ruined... As I said, at least it's the weekend after next. If it was this weekend - and we had anything to play for - I'd be calling it off.

Give them a shout or two from me IDM - unless you're in the home end of course  :silly:

I'm expecting a Wigan win here, and think they'll get a draw at best against Bolton. Brum ARE going down!

Doesn't look like there's a stream for this game.

There aren't many things I've read where I feel less informed at the end than I do at the start, but I'll remember this as one of them. And the thing is, I'm sure you're right and logically consistent. I just don't understand what the f**k you are on about.

Glad it's not just me - I generously gave that two sittings to ponder on. I was left with no option but to surrender my ego, and have consequently achieved enlighenment

Simple really i was saying i was dreading listening to the Birmingham game, and Macheda's name when he was one of us i didn't have to worry, but playing for Birmingham he was a threat to us staying up.
The Del saying meant i was crapping myself leading up to this game, nervous, you remind me of Tom Hanks in BIG Billy ''I Don't get it''

That was quite weird last night.  I have been to a fair few games as a neutral spectator, usually due to being in the nearby area when a game is on, where I would normally go in the home and and watch quietly.

Last night I was in the Wigan end, and was cheering them on to victory.  OK I didn't join in their own set of chants, but I was applauding when they had a chance on goal, or a good tackle etc.  This was as good as a win for us, in an odd way.

It was just a fluke of my travelling yesterday (and the cheap tickets) that meant I could go to this game, but I am glad I did.

I would love to Rob, but if I was in a position to get to a game on Saturday timewise, and paying for the ticket, then I'd be at Leicester...

Last night was an opportunity I couldn't refuse in passing, at £10.  Had the tickets been the full regular prices, I wouldn't have bothered...

It has to be Karma , you being there was meant to happen and a victory for the 'pie eaters' was the consequence of you being there.
Come on Bolton on Satdi, though we need something/anything from our game on Satdi against the 'big spenders'.
I hate to think what they must have spent and will have to spend to get to and now be in the Prem. !
