Very sad news, it's not a great age these days, is it?

He Starred in at least three (that spring immediately to mind) of my favourite films.

Mona Lisa

A great actor and someone I have grown up watching in movies most of my life.

Massive shame

Is my favourite I think. The film that brought Shane Meadows to my attention.

For those who haven't seen it, it's well worth it.

Hoskins plays a loveable but flawed character, a boxing coach who tries to inspire the lads of a Notts village.

I do a bit of 'extras' acting work every so often,  worked on 'The Street' with Bob Hoskins and can honestly say he was one of the most approachable, funny, genuine, down to earth celebrities I've met.
