Hull City/ Husband

Sounds like there about to sign that Andrew Robertson from Dundee Utd. Only 20 so maybe they have given up on Husband and moved onto other targets? Good news maybe!!

Perhaps unless they don't rate Hubby's game as good enough overall

Well its only good news for us so hopefully we can keep hold of him. Make sure he signs a new deal so if anyone does come sniffing that we get a decent fee for him.

I still think our aim should be to sign a strong left back and push Husband up to left side of midfield

Agreed. He was at his best in League One last time when played in front of Spurr on the wing. Better winger than Kyle Bennett ever will be.

I agree with the view he is muh stronger playing infront of the bak four . I reckon this lad could  be THE man this season if he stays with us .

Not sure that Husband as an out and out left winger would work. As a winger, you are frequently facing a full back one on one. You need a bit of cuteness to either beat the full back with a feint, play a pass inside or simply accelerate past him from standing.

Husband looks most dangerous when he comes bombing along as an overlap past the winger. That is an entirely different capability.

I can see what you mean BST and pretty much agree, he does look better when on the overlap. However, he isn't the greatest when it comes to defending is he? So what role should he play in? I don't think there's such a thing as a hybrid of the two positions. Its a bit of a catch twenty two situation to me. Do we sacrifice some defensive ability to benefit attack, or vise versa?
